Was a few years ago now but I remember talking with someone at work in a group and someone mentioned badger in context (aye, of actual badgers) but I immediately spoke over them going badger badger badger (you know how it goes) and then two other people joined in. 😃

20 years ago tomorrow, my son named Badger was born. And the first thing my brother did was send me an email with the original flash video linked. I had no idea until today they debuted the same year. All of the badger videos have given us such joy for all these years. Especially Badger. Thank you!

Goddamn im 30 now and i have such clear memories of being 10 and watching this in the computer lab. Like sands through the hourglass, these are the days of our lives...
I still remember my mum coming into my room to yell at me for playing this for hours non-stop. All this time later and now that I'm the adult... It's still as good as I remember it! I wouldn't mind the young meme kids blasting this for a few hours.

12 or 13 years ago, I went over to my buddy's apartment and put on amazing horse (the flash site) snd it was on until the next morning until the animation was out of sync. Good times.

Fun Fact, the original Flash of Badgers isn't actually a perfect loop! If you watched it long enough, the animation and the sound went out of sync. Guess how I figured that out?

Ahh, I remember watching this for the first time back when I was like 13, definitely not 20 years ago so I was a little late to the party, but goes to show how much of a staple Weebl's creations are, and how they will be known for many more decades to come. @@okjeffy6581 2006 sounds about right. I have fond memories of the Radiskull & Devil Doll series too. I remember it taking about 30 minutes to load an episode on Shockwave through dial-up, begging my parents not to use the landline. Great times.

The amazing thing about Flash videos is, because they use vectors to create the images, they scale up pretty much infinity (line thickness can be an issue if you go really big, but its an easy fix).
Unfortunately, now flash isn't readily available, videos are locked into whatever resolution was available on RUclips when they were uploaded. If someone could just reconvert the original Flash files, we could have beautiful 4K versions of some of these classics, instead of 360p 😄

This is freaking awesome, and the fact you've been keeping things as fresh and funny as always, as well as surrel, is definitely impressive. Congrats on the 20th, you freaky badgers.
My youth was forever marked by Weebl's animations and sense of humor. I can't remember how I stumbled upon the original site running Flash animations, which featured a cool dude with a t-shirt that could showcase customized text in the upper corner of the site and I would spend long time scrolling through the different flash series stored in it.
Badger was one of the memorable Internet hits (my personal favorite at the time was Kenya) but every time I showed Badger or Footy to someone, they would fall prey to its catchy tune and badgery energy!

Yikes 20 years! I remember being introduced to this back in 2003 when we were recording in Nottingham! 🖤 Also it was only a few years ago that they removed a sign in Leeds that had the familiar badgers on it as part of a larger advertisement!

This is the kind of humor ive been missing for a long time
20 years? It's absolutely crazy. I remember 20 years ago, I was in school and i'll never forget when a friend in a computer lab blasted BADGERS BADGERS BADGERS with his PC's speakers. People thought it was the most insane thing they ever saw, yet thought it was highly addictive. Many others would play the flash video over and over and over again on their computers. It got quite popular with my friends and every time it would make us laugh so much. It was pretty much the first "meme" that got shared with my school friends on the internet.
So I want to thank you for that, Mr. Weebl. And happy 20th anniversary to the Badgers! And also the mushrooms. And TH-TH-THE SNAKE!! AH! IT'S A SNAKE!

pretty sure badger badger badger was not only my first Flash animation I ever saw, but my first video I ever saw on the internet. It was on a Windows 95 in my computer room at my elementary school. Someone was like pssst check this out, in the early 2000s schools had NO clue about Albinoblacksheep so it wasn't blocked for us.

Pretty sure I wasn't an og watcher since this was originally posted on another site in '03 but I just remember being so infatuated with your music and cartoons. I recently went back and listened to a bunch of tunes (Magical Trevor, Narwals, Savlonic) after watching the 20th anniversary and it's fun how at the time I didn't take them for "funny internet cartoons" but for just my normal music I listened to on the bus along with my other songs.
I think this is why I'm into the music I'm into today. So for that I say thank you for shaping my music taste and humor over the years Internet Grandpa Weebl.

After 4 hours she called me."This is one of those endless loop things isn't it you shithead!"😂😂 It was so slow she didn't even get to the snake. Both her and granny are gone now.
