Tirek didn't even know who he was, so he wasn't a henchman. He was just some goober who walked into Tirek's house, told him a riddle, then left

I like the idea that Tirek, an imposing being with great power, feels threatened enough by ponies that he has to resort to getting the police.
And as we see in a later episode, the police is six giant crabs who can't deal with the ponies either.
I mean they did break into his house

If the police arrests the ponies, then the ponies will be the ones to get into trouble and he can't be charged for anything.

@@scrungles7853 I mean, they pretty much did make him up for G4, lol. He has very very little to do with Tirek from G1. If anything, G4 has a lot more in common with Arabus, another G1 villain, than he does with that generation's Tirek. Grogar was a much more faithful adaptation of a G1 villain. Ironic, because it wasn't even the real Grogar in G4, it was Discord pretending to be him.

It feels like Megan first met these ponies when she was a kid and went on all kinds of fun adventures but now she's a twenty something with depression who will never get that growth spurt she's been waiting for and the ponies still keep coming back to make her fix their problems.
Sounds like a wicked spin-off actually.. maybe something about her inability to grow regularly into an adult is due to pony exposure?? 🤔 You better get that patent pending! ✌🏽

Though I'd say it wasn't really mid 2000's, it was closer to starting off around the 2010 mark. It's around this time that littlekuriboh and Teamfourstar essentially took this scene by storm.

God, the way you edited the footage really DID make it seem like Tirek was turned into a man in the actual pilot's ending, and that Scorpan was the true villain all along. Tirek just likes turning ponies into dragons, there's nothing wrong with that.
