i thought experience is going away at the end of this year?
It is.
Back in the day devs had to go through hoops to take advantage of every single bit of proccessing but nowadays computers have become so powerful that devs just DGAF, your PC is getting slower? Buy a brand new one that's 10% better for double the price of what you paid for the last one, oh and don't forget to double the RAM as soon as you get it. I want a simple interface that runs faster than my monitor can keep up, not a shinny transparency crap with worthless animations that runs at 10 FPS. Back in the days of windows vista my friends often complained about their PC's slowing down, I just turn off the desktop transparency and it suddenly became faster than when it was new, their minds were blown.
Feel like you're making a bigger deal of it than it is. So it's one specific setting that if you turn off gets you back to margin of error differences.
These numbers are significant in reviews, especially when the new products are coming out. 10-15% is usually another tier of GPU and or CPU!
I've always wondered that who even installs those bloatware craps with the drivers.
That's why I only have drivers. Experience destroys frame rate idk why but it's been that way for me for years.
also when installing the driver ive alwayws used nvidia SLIMMER - just the driver essentials.
CPUs get faster, allowing headroom for devs to "do more" with software, but bringing down the snappiness again. It is a cycle.
Yo, is this why my cpu usage went up from 10-20% to 60-99%??
Literally never had a problem before on games
New guy here, How do I get the "DRIVER ONLY DEFAULT" performance? Please and thank you to anyone who helps.
Good, I'm glad. I thought it was just my poor laptop finally dying.
This is getting blown out of proportion.
Nvidia and modem apps pair just as well as oil and water
This is exactly why I waited.
honestly it makes no difference since I turn off overlays and use fixed fresh monitor… maybe makes diff for peeps who use sync
My works fine have 150 fps with raytracing and max settings in war thunder, and only the problem was warthunder was using the old DLSS version, so Manuel updated also 4090
how do u use dlss everthing is blurry as sht
@Broken_ora I am using a new version. It fixes old outdated one. gijian is using and it get better when add DLAA older dlss have ghost shadow problem after updated manually no ghost shadows at all
@Broken_ora I had the same problem you did, but with other games like SCUM until they updated and added DLAA
I also look at the version gijian was using as you see the anti-aliasing version right next to name too the look up right now is the version you see it outdated that gijian added in
they deactivated that photo option by default on last install :)))
