Do you know how i can take the workload off of my cpu in fortnite without just turning up the graphics to put some onto my gpu. After all the gpu optimizations its at 4% usage. also do you prefer fps or latency
You can't really "transfer" load from the CPU to the GPU as there are tasks carried out specifically by the CPU only. The real way of doing it would be to get a better processor which will perform better and therefore be less loaded by the game. And I bet it makes no difference in the performance if you install the complete Nvidia package vs driver only. PhysX is used by some games, especially older ones. Why not installing it? Or is it just because of the benchmark?
100%! These were for the sake of the benchmark as I wanted as little interference as possible, and that's why I gave an option whether to download the barebones driver or install it yourself with the options you need, should've explained that part a little better though, I agree!
It's for basic debloat and privacy concerns over telemetry, I don't believe there's an FPS boost to it, but it was for the sake of the benchmark running on a barebones driver so nothing interferes with it! I'll be sure to test if there's an FPS boost with NVcleanstall and Nvidia control panel performance settings in an upcoming video :)

Any nvidia driver below 560.03 has serious security issues and you shouldn't be using it if you have literally /any/ sensitive data on your PC. However, I can test 551.87 and a few more, then compare them to the highest FPS driver in the video to see if it makes any difference, thanks! :)
@ been building pcs for 10 years and a everyday gamer. The security risks are only if you download stupid stuff that have malware. At that point you might as well reset windows because that’ll be impacted far more than a gpu driver.
It's a personal preference, but it never worked well for me in any game, all it does is decrease my FPS from anywhere between 2% to 5%. Others have reported similar issues on both Windows 10 and 11 (even though it was supposed to be "improved" on 11). I also don't like the fact that it gives you absolutely no info on what the heck is it doing in the first place, I know for a fact it stops Windows updates from running while playing and restrains some apps from running (or using more resources). Now... how would you know if it's not trying to restrain subprocesses needed for the game? Valorant for example has 1 main process, which is the game itself, and like 5-6 more for the shop, CEF, riot client and other things, which will actually make the game run worse if they're restrained (personal experience). Process Lasso on the other hand, has a feature called "ProBalance" which acts in a similar way to Game Mode. The only difference being you can /exclude/ processes from ProBalance. I'll usually just go ahead and exclude the game and its subprocesses and let it restrain anything else in the background that's not connected to it, or not needed by me (e.g: if you're streaming = OBS). All in all, game mode looks like a complete gimmick (like a lot of damn Windows features nowadays LOL), almost on par with these "Game Boosters" you see online that "clean up your ram" and give you a 5fps boost (if the stars align, and if your PC is 15 years old) or completely mess up your PC. To sum it up: - Use Process Lasso ProBalance (I'll make a video about how to set it all up soon!) - Set download/upload limits for the foreground and background in your Windows Update settings - Enjoy smoothness :)
It depends what your needs (or wants) are, FPS-wise - probably not much. On the other hand, privacy-wise - it does quite a bit! I've also fixed multiple issues like microstuttering, screen flickering and some stubborn DPC latency issues in the past with the options provided within the installer. We can go more in-depth in another video which will be just about NVcleanstall if that'll help!
Only if you do it on a full moon! But puns aside! I can't reallly answer that question as I haven't tried that app, I don't see why would it mess it up (it's practically just a new driver install) as Moonlight just streams the game from your gaming PC to another device, or am I wrong? However, if you're feeling lucky, please do test it for yourself and let me know how it goes :)
Hey, it's a joke from another joke in another video (I know, right?!) Anyway, I still don't recommend using it, even though it's relatively safe now. Looking back at 2017 when it infected millons of PCs with viruses and granted remote access to the attackers ^ Let alone that you can literally do anything in there manually and most of the things you probably don't even need to worry about unless you have a system from 2005 - stay safe! :)
a couple of interesting ideas for videos. comparison of RAM frequency, is there a big difference in HDD and SSD, 10 Windows vs. 11, and how does resolution affect FPS (1920 vs. 1600..) you can take several popular resolutions like 1750x1080 if the translation is bad, here is the original text

i haver a good pc but does anyone knows why my game feels like so unsmooth with 240 fps and hz espacilly when im building and fighting it feels like 1 fps
Most of the time people say "not smooth", it's because they're dropping frames. Hop in a game and test your 0.2% and 1% lows using CapFrameX and if it's waaay lower than your average - you've got your issue there! It could be due to many things such as bad driver(s) (make sure to update them), cpu throttling (check your temperatures, if overheating, get a better cooler or repaste it) or even a faulty power supply (had that happen to me personally, oh my). Anyway, that's only a FEW of the causes, but start with finding what the real problem is, then work your way down to the cause of it! :)

@@FrameSyncLabs yes. Explaining is important. People might assume that you can safely keep all these things off no matter what.

Thank you, I'll announce a new link tomorrow when I upload a new video - stay tuned!
waiting for the nvidia control panel video.
Why using nvclean installer? Its not enough normal nvidia installer? There is some advantage in perfomance or just discard something not needed
It's for basic debloat and privacy concerns over telemetry, I don't believe there's an FPS boost to it, but it was for the sake of the benchmark running on a barebones driver so nothing interferes with it! I'll be sure to test if there's an FPS boost with NVcleanstall and Nvidia control panel performance settings in an upcoming video :)
bro, i got stutter when nvidia driver installed even when idle, it's somewhat fixed when change to max performance setting BUT it stutter on games when gpu usage 0% or 100% especially on dirext11 games
What game and GPU is that? Me or someone else might be able to help if we know the details :)
@@FrameSyncLabs cpu amd fx6300 ram 16gb gpu gtx 1070 8gb,
first i got gpu it was huge stuttering, it stutter even when idle or just playing video, when i changed to performance max it become occasionally stutter like :once or twice when idle or watch video everyday.
and when gaming it still cause huge stutering then after huge tweaks left and right it no longer stutter on direct9 games, on direct 12 games, only random occasionally stuttering but on direct 11 games it still stuttering not to the point unplayable tho but still much like twice every 15minutes at worst the rest is random the games are like nfs payback and middle earth shadow of war.
on marvels spiderman remastered (except the third dlc) and god of war 2018 is fine.
before assuming bottleneck : i play ygo masterduel offline it stutering but when i play it online, it's very smooth.
temp still normal.
also when gpu clock changed it also caused stuttering. so i use rivaturner.
this is never happen when i used amd.
ah, when i play not using driver at all the stuttering gone.
@@loudanddisturbingsoundigotjesus ask ur dad for better cpu
@@yxon1ph ask ur mom to give you good eyes, clearly wrote before assuming cpu bottleneck, ygo masterduel stutter when offline and not stutter when online there, not even on demanding game. direct9 game run smoothly. it's acceptable, bottleneck if the game is like cyberpunk or something like that but htf cpu bottleneck when running software like solitaire
551.87 is the king actually it’s one of the most stable drivers, and great FPS on it. It’s highly praised
At that point you might as well reset windows because that’ll be impacted far more than a gpu driver.
can you explain why we shouldn't enable gamemode
To sum it up:
- Use Process Lasso ProBalance (I'll make a video about how to set it all up soon!)
- Set download/upload limits for the foreground and background in your Windows Update settings
- Enjoy smoothness :)
good explanation thank you
bcdedit commands...
dynamictick, platformtick and platformclock
Good video but I think no1 will see difference in 5fps but you should mby make video about input lag/delay comparison with drivers, in cs2
I have a ryzen 5 5600 and a Intel arc a380 what optimizing can I do to get more performance?
I'm not too sure about Intel Arc as I haven't tried it yet, once I get my hands on one, I'll definitely make an optimization video about it!
Thanks you 🙏
Can you share the code of this benchmark map? thanks in advance!
Of course, here's the Fortnite benchmark map from the video: 0240-9716-3198
So, the guy who said "latest" on reddit was right after all
Reddit guy lowkey the GOAT?? Nearly!
Does NV Clean install even do anything? I never noticed any benefits.
If I remote play on my PC through Moonlight, will this mess that up?
Only if you do it on a full moon! But puns aside! I can't reallly answer that question as I haven't tried that app, I don't see why would it mess it up (it's practically just a new driver install) as Moonlight just streams the game from your gaming PC to another device, or am I wrong? However, if you're feeling lucky, please do test it for yourself and let me know how it goes :)
excited for a full x3d optimization
Aw man, me too! Just finished installing it :)
Why no CCLeaner o.o
1600..) you can take several popular resolutions like 1750x1080
if the translation is bad, here is the original text
@@LEGODAN4IK These are some nice suggestions, will definitely add them to my list of upcoming videos - thanks!
I’ve been getting really bad fps drops with new 566 drivers
I only noticed performance improvements on drivers below 560
3050 laptop btw
Are u inspired by khorive u guys have a similar style i like both of ur videos :)
What about 566.45 hotfix, I've seen it fixed performance for some people
It wasnt on the official nvidia driver download page at the time of recording this video, but I'll definitely test it and a few other ones to see how they compare to the highest FPS driver in the video and will let you guys know!
Please do it for AMD, if you want you can be specific between the RX 5xxx, 6xxx and 7xxx versions (I personally have a RX 6600 Eagle Oc)
@@youngyoukai Will do as soon as I'm able to get an AMD GPU, for sure! Do you have an idea if they use the same driver versions like NVIDIA does? Thanks! :)

Thank you!
you know that 24H2 broke the intel P/E cores scheduler, right???? roll back to 23H2 dude
I didn't! Might have to test and see what the results are, thank you!
Nice video
Still no discord link :(
Unfortunately I didn't have much time to fiddle with Discord but I promise it'll be ready at some point next week!
i tested nvidia control pannel things change
no fps change
I felt that 566.14 was better than 566.36.
THANK YOU!!!
Good video
your videos remind me of khorvietech
i haver a good pc but does anyone knows why my game feels like so unsmooth with 240 fps and hz espacilly when im building and fighting it feels like 1 fps
@@FrameSyncLabs i got a ryzen 7 5800x3d and a 4070 super with 32gbs of ram 3600mhz and 850 watt power supply idk what to do anymore i upgraded my pc everything is better lower input lag smoother gameplay overall but i feel likwhen im fighting and building itz feels so unsmooth
@Liam-vn9ioi had same thing on same cpu only gsync + vsync + rtss 144 hz cap reflex auto in settings made it playable
Please consider Halo Infinite game for your experiments.
It's got a nice price tag to it, but I'll definitely grab it and add it to the list once my budget loosens up a little - thanks for the suggestion! :)
