I don't have a dishwasher but I do try to wash as much as I can at night. Guilty of leaving the pots soaking! One thing I always do at night is refill my water bottle and put it in the fridge so it's ready for me in the morning. While I watched I folded kitchen towels.😊
Hey Kimmy, thanks for watching! My friend also doesn’t have a dishwasher and she says handwashing hast to stay in her routine so that she can get it accomplished! Pot soaking in the sink yes, for sure those hard hand wash items usually sit in the left-hand amazing until I can get to them. We had an over abundance of hand. Wash items in my sink look absolutely full for sure. Putting a water bottle in the fridge overnight is so smart. Kitchen towels, folded, score! Thanks for commenting in for being here.
I always make sure my dishwasher is ready for dishes in the morning so my dishes go straight in there as we use them throughout the day 😊 Thanks for sharing this process, Amanda ❤
Great tip! We try to as well….if I can keep ahead of it during the day. This was a Sunday night so…I had run it two or more time that day. Ugh haha! So many folks in this house 🏡
I love your seven step process. If I have anything that needs to soak, I put those in the sink before I do the counters/stove top/etc. I loved this video.
Yes! Soaking during the other cleaning. Love that “shift work” idea. Very efficient tip! Morning floors is nice as well! Thanks Shara! Have a great day!
Girl, I needed this motivation for real! Thank you so much for sharing this! It was so relaxing to watch, and definitely inspired me to get the kitchen cleaned this evening! I love that you gave us steps, it definitely helped! 😃
You are so welcome! I’m glad it was a relaxing, cozy time! I strive to have gentle, cleaning motivation on my channel. We all need motivation, but it is kind to be kind and gentle. Especially when it is a hard task. Raising young children being a HOMEschool mom, I know you know these things real well. Thanks for the kind words. Always a pleasure.
Wonderful after dinner kitchen reset motivation 🙌 I'm in a bad stretch since the weekend and I needed this to get me back in the mode 😅 I usually make decaf earl grey with oatmilk before bed ❤
I hear you the weekend. Ask me totally off course in the entire house! I guess because I’m a stay at home homeschool mom, I take the weekends “off” and I have to work double time on Sunday night and Monday to get it back into shape. Oh well we all make our decisions. 🤪Wow an earl Grey with oat milk sounds delightful. I have to get some decaf Earl Grey. Tasty and delicious! Thanks for stopping by always a pleasure to hear from you.
Hey friend! Great motivation here! I do my best to close down my kitchen, but now that my kids are older they sometimes make food after dinner (well, my husband does too! Haha!) So sometimes I wake up to dishes in the sink and/or crumbs on the counter, but that is okay! Thanks for sharing!💗
Thanks Joy it’s good to close down the kitchen every evening. I do admit there’s times that I don’t do it to its full extent. Sometimes I miss the floor. Sometimes I’ll forget to polish the stove top. But having a list and a checkpoint really gives me the encouragement to know the things that need to be got done in the evening. So cool that when your kids are grown up, things do change in the routine. Thanks for stopping in. 😎
Good for you I wish I got all the dishes done every single night, but sometimes things need to take a counter or sink and sit there until the morning. Bleaching the sink sounds very sparkly! I usually try to use more gentle types of cleaning. Though the sink drain, does get kind of Skunky and needs to be disinfected. That is a good way to disinfect. Cleven cleaning the oven top and vacuuming the floor really does polish up the job! Thanks for stopping by in for messaging, Cindy! Have a good day
I also "try" to get the dishes all the way done in the evening but sometimes those pesky pots need to sit in the corner and think about what they've done before I get to them 😂🤦♀️🤷♀️
Love checklists! Have definitely left leftovers out. Lately I just started putting them away even if my son hasn't eaten yet. Keeps them from sitting out all night if he forgets or just doesn't want to eat.
What I would add to your steps are breaks because I be strugglin'! 😅 A lot of people like to finish off by cleaning the sink but I don't have that kind of energy. I don't fill the sink to wash dishes so it doesn't have to be pristine.
Thank you for joining me today! What do you do in a kitchen reset? Would you add anything to my 7-step list?

Great day and enjoy ❣️❤❤
Love doing the draws that way.
It's inspiring to see how you take the time to care for your kitchen and create a clean and calming environment. Very motivating! Thank you!
Thanks Vikki! I do try. Not perfect but progress was made. Have a blessed day! Thanks for stopping in.
As long as I get my dishes done and wipe down the counters before bed, I'm happy.
Perfect! ❤️🍽️
I am doing the dishes as I watch. So motivating! 🙌☺️
Yay for dishes! Thanks for letting me know. I hope you have a lovely day. Thanks for commenting and let me know you were encouraged.

I’m slack about not cleaning the floors until the morning. I tend to do the whole house (floor wise) each morning instead.

I always do all dishes, bleach my sink, clean countertops, oven and vacuum floor to make me happy.

Yes! I’m not the only one I knew it.
Yes the “come again” plates we do that also
@@MindyourMatters He used to do better about that, but I think lately he grabs snacks (like teenagers do), and then isn't hungry.
😂🤣it happens

Washing the dishes. I don't have a dish washer. And getting them put away.
Always put clean dishes away. So they don't get dirty again from being out or in the sink.😂
Yes!
