    Dear parents! When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!! Respectfully, Astra Viil 😊❤

      Thanks for this. My kids have a keepsake box and I declutter after they have passed over the toys. They do have a chance to keep their special items. I know many times my kids only keep a few things which still helps the declutter. Thanks for the comment

    I have hashimotos as well. I've been really worried that I won't be able to homeschool my children because there are times where I just feel completely useless. My oldest recently turned 4 so she isn't officially in school yet but I do like to do little crafts and activities to go along with her story. Things like that. It's very encouraging to know that someone is out there making it happen. Thank you for your video and advice

    What is up with all the rude comments? You showed us how to make a concentrate laundry soap that works. This is wonderful! I have never seen it done in a jar before and I'm willing to give it a go. I may transfer it to plastic containers after it's done completely. I need my jars for canning purposes LOL even my half pints for jelly. Thanks goes out to your husband for his service, and thank you for this wonderful tutorial!❤ May God continue to bless you all! ✝️🙏

    Just a quick comment about the glasses your wearing. I didn't see this pair in your video that you made when you got rid of several pairs from your collection of glasses. This is a frame style that's at the top of my list for women's glasses and especially when it's in pink. Unless your glasses are Ray-Ban Clubmaster it's a very good copy of that frame. It's very popular today and has been since the 1940's. It first came out as a mans frame and only in black. If you watch any old old movies you might very well see that frame on a man. Then sometime in the late 50's women took the frame from the men's frame board and had their glasses made in that frame. It continued being popular from then on with both men and women. Finally Ray-Ban got smart and started making it in smaller sizes as well as in pastel colors such as pink for women. One f the main reasons women love it is because its such a comfortable frame to wear. I'm assuming your glasses are very comfortable on you as well?

  • @soundmanpt
    @soundmanpt 10 месяцев назад

    When you said that you were going to be throwing out several pairs of your previous glasses i didn't even finish watching your video and had already typed several lines pleading with to never ever just throw any of your glasses out in the trash which is what I thought you meant you were going to do. But I was so much happier seeing that you were in fact intending on either donating to Goodwill or finding a Lion's Club donation box. I'm not sure but I think the Goodwill donation sites where I live actually donates prescription glasses to the Lions Club or the Gift of Site which is very much like the Lion's Club. Besides having been an optician form 37 years I'm still an active member of the local Lion's Club near me. You have a rather impressive collection of glasses in your drawer. For anyone that wears glasses fulltime how nice is to have a nice selection of glasses to choose from everyday rather than constantly wearing the same glasses day after day? It only makes sense when you think about it because you would never wear the outfit day after day would you? So why would you want to wear the same glasses everyday? I noticed right away that you are wearing different glasses quite often in your videos. Your rarely ever seen without glasses in front of what appears to be really pretty green eyes. If I'm right that your eyes are green I wonder if you know that only 2% of the world's population has green eyes. So that's very rare. I assume all of the glasses in your drawer are in your current prescription or you would have gotten rid of them. So you have been ordering glasses from on-line glasses sites since 2012 or for about the last 14 years. I am going to assume that your eyes have pretty much become stable and you may not have had a change in prescription for quite awhile? The only exception if you have had any change would have likely been due to one of your 4 pregnancies. I mentioned that in my comment to you in your "Mommy fix it - Glasses" video. I'm sorry to hear you say that the cute pair you were wearing in that fix-it video is one that's your not keeping and did I hear you say that they can't be donated? If so why not? I do agree with you on the "cat-eye" pair you tried on at 7:28. The only reason there so "scuzzy" as you say is because there in a drawer and not in a nice glasses case keeping the lenses clean. No say it isn't so? Your getting rid of the glasses at 7:43. They do look a little tight on you but I think they just needed adjusted. You do know that even though you no longer buy your glasses from a local optical store you can any and all of your glasses to any optical store and get them adjusted and fitted at no charge. They could care less where your glasses came from. I like all 3 of the Zinff glasses you got. The 3 rd pair from Zinff are maybe a little big on you but what I think in looking at them is that you need to "carefully" spread the nose pads apart which will allow them to sit slightly lower on your nose and that in turn will lower them at the top so they aren't trying to block your eyebrows. One thing I really like about them is that they have such a nice thin metal frame which really allows for your face to be seen so well. Don't tell your husband I said this but your really very attractive which was very evident when you weren't wearing glasses as you changing from one pair tom another and needing to clean each pair before putting them on. Considering that you've been wearing glasses for at least 14 years and likely longer than that, your glasses really aren't all that strong. Your nearsighted which is most common to be and i think your prescription must only be somewhere between -1.75 and -2.25. Am I in the ballpark with my guess?

  • @soundmanpt
    @soundmanpt 10 месяцев назад

    One thing I wish you had included in your video would be a warning for anyone that wears their glasses fulltime just how important it is foe them to always have a backup or spare of glasses that's reasonably still close their current prescription for the exact reason you were fixing your glasses. I don't know when you got your first glasses or when you longer were able do without them and you were no longer going without them. Even with a rather weak prescription once you're wearing glasses fulltime your eyes become too dependent on your glasses that you feel you aren't able to get by without them anymore. I was an optician for 37 years so I often fitted someone with their first glasses from then on. They went from barely needing glasses to claiming blindness without them. So a good reminder to anyone reading this that is wearing the only pair of glasses they own and wearing them all the time. You probably aren't able to see to drive anymore and you may even have glasses listed as a restriction on your driver's license. You really do need to get a second pair of glasses. I totally understand that glasses are quite expensive at your local optical store. But you have the option of ordering your won glasses from numerous on-line glasses sites that you can actually get a pair of glasses in your prescription for under $20.00. Several sites the girls in our store were ordering really cute glasses from were Zenni Optical, Lensmart and Payne Glasses. No one ever thinks that anything will happen to their glasses but I saw it everyday. Things as simple as falling asleep with your glasses on can have you waking up to broken glasses. And there are millions of pairs of glasses on the bottom of lakes, rivers, streams and oceans as well. Another way glasses are getting lost more and more is at amusement parks where they have all of those rides that twist and turn you upside down at high speeds. Those twists and turns often results in glasses flying off of faces and never seen again. You have been wearing glasses long enough that you have quite a few previous pairs in a drawer and usually the last glasses you were wearing before you got the ones your currently wearing the prescription is usually close enough to your current prescription that you are able to still see well enough until you can get a new pair or get the broken ones repaired if you aren't able to repair them yourself. By the way I really like those glasses on you. They look really good on you. I can tell by looking at your glasses that your nearsighted. You have 4 kids which makes me wander if any or maybe all of them may have caused a change in your eyesight. It may or may not surprise you that approximately 50% of pregnancies effects a woman's eyesight. For those already wearing glasses an increase in their prescription and new glasses is all that would be needed. But for those young ladies that always had perfect vision about half of them are now wearing glasses. There also usually not happy when they find out it's permanent. I had several patients that thought they would only be needing glasses until a few months after having their baby. They didn't know they would be wearing glasses the rest of their lives.
