  • The five minute in jar laundry soap concentrate. The recipe is below. Prepare to be amazed at the potency and how easy it is to make your own homemade and customizable laundry detergent.
Thanks! I enjoyed thoroughly teaching this five minute hands on method. The five minutes hands-on to prepare time is my favorite! One jar and easy clean up! This is my favorite way to make laundry soap concentrate. Thanks for stopping by my channel!
Let's mind our matters when it comes to laundry soap and detergent! This stuff is perfecto! It gets out almost any stain, you only need one tablespoon per load-and, as the title of this video suggests, it only takes five minutes to make, with no cooking, grading, shaving, boiling the soap (only boil water)…..multiple pots and pans involved! Plus, the ingredients are also dirt cheap! It equals out to just a few cents per load of laundry. We, as a family of 6, use it daily for everything from clothes to concentrated stain remover!
We have also used this in cloth diapering and gentle soap for infants….. and it does the job well every time. Make it yourself by watching this DIY tutorial! Let's make this 5-minute laundry concentrate in a jar together!

My husband made this years ago. But, he didn’t blend it with hot water. He kept it dry, shook the container to mix it and used a tablespoon to scoop it out. He lost interest & stopped making it. I’ll have to give it a try.

Oh yes! I’ve heard of the dry version. I’ll have to research if my washing machine would tolerate that. Good idea! Let me know @Ginger Rogers if you try it

I have never tried the liquid version. How do you find it works for stains? I found the dry DIY was okay not very good for stains compared to store brand. Do you find it saves you money? Also how much do you use?

Hey! So happy to have you here! I like the flesnaphla for extra stain removal. I will use a bit of it on a stain to pretreat. Or just get some blue dawn. I like not having as many chemicals in our soap. Store brand that are “cleaner” are pretty pricy. So I feel like we save quite a bit. I use a rounded tablespoon about each load. I put a bit more in the “heavy soiled” loads and use a vinegar rinse or an extra rinse to clean up any left over soap. Depends on your washer and water quality. Takes adjustment. ❤️

I like it for all my laundry. Tho be aware I don’t have hard water and I use vinegar rinse on the regular. Especially with towels and house cloths to make sure no residue stays behind. Let me know how it goes for you. Thanks for stopping by my channel!

@@MindyourMatters thank you very much for your answer! I want to try it as well. I have hard water, but I have water filters, so I guess it won't be an issue.
