Hi Amanda 👋🏼 Great job! I actually LOVE the feeling of “emptiness” and bare spaces after taking down the Christmas decor 😊 And thanks for the reminder to take our time and give ourselves grace ❤
What a lovely video, Amanda! So warm and cozy. I love the idea of undecorating in stages so you can properly put things away for next year, instead of rushing.
Very nice and calming video. I have Hashimoto's (autoimmune disease of the thyroid) so I totally approach tasks the same way, in small bites. I put our Christmas tree up for the first time in at least 10 years because we had rambunctious pets until last year and, to my partner, it signified the loss of his dad. To my surprise, he wants to keep the tree up because he really likes the disco ball ornaments (he was a DJ) so I just removed the red ornaments and any other obvious Christmas decorations like angels and the star topper and just kept the silver ornaments on and things like snowflakes, snowmen, and a polar bear. I only had a few other Christmas decorations out so they were taken down too.
I think decorating and taking down decor in stages is a great idea. I did take a few days this year to put up and take everything down because it’s a lot of work lol.
❤️❤️❤️

Yes mam it’s a lot of work. Not to mention sends the house in disarray. Stages and in segments is the way to keep myself sane!
Nice
Thanks
🥰🤗
After watching this, I have decided I'm too lazy for natural decor. 😂
