Sprinkling cow urine is a normal ritual during new house warming. In Malaysia where many of us are decendents of south indian states mainly from AP, TN, Kerala & Telangana states. We also follow this Hindu tradition where we bring the Passu (female cow) @ a.k.a Laxmi into the new house to bless the house. This is done by letting the Passu to urinate and also discharge Cow dung in the middle of the hall to bless the new home. We believe by the Passu doing this, it blesses the new home.

There are many debates about use of cow urine its smell a lot but here I want to say one thing that cow is given a lot of importance in the worship of Hindu deities like in Puja. Dung, urine, milk from cows were holy for Hindus and used in earlier times, people who live in villages would know more,
In earlier times there are no discovery of cement or tiles for floor, so inside the house, land was spread & level with using cow dung to keep away the bacteria from house.
dry cow dung was used to light the fire, cow urine was used to kill microorganisms. Milk products are used in puja as offering prasad to god.
Back then science was not as advanced as it is today, then what was natural available was used, even today traditional method is used in some places like cow urine...its shocking for foreigners but normal for Indians...🙏

Gau mutra and cow dung is primarily used as a fertilizers by farmers in india(maybe in other countries also). Majority of the crops, fruits, vegetables which we r eating r grown with the help of these fertilizers wch r organic and helps in improving the soil quality.
We worship cow bcoz it gives milk to everyone without any discrimination and also it helps farmers in agriculture process. Also whatever the fruits, vegetables, crops we r eating is grown with the help of cow🐄🐄🐄🐄
So people making fun of gau mutra and cow dung should remember this👆.
BTW - that background music while going in auto was 👌👌👌😂😂😂.

The cow dung is used as fuel for cooking and Go Muthra (the cow urine) is sprinkled in around the house in the sense to cleanse the space from negative energies. So, that crop becomes pesticide free organic crop.. pesticides are one of the main contributors for Cancer cases in the present day. I live in the caribbean on an Island called Trinidad and Tobago; its 50% hinduism and I was born into a Hindu home, I have heard of people doing this and to be honest there are many customs, traditions and practices associated with Cow in its divine relation to the mother and her blessedness. However for the past ten years I been delivered from hinduism onto the adoption of Children by Jesus Christ. I will no longer discriminate hinduism; I can easily do so but instead I'll tell you some truth Jenniji; if you believe wholeheartedlly in what you are taught and learn in accordance to hinduism you'll find peace, happiness and fulfillment in this present life but towards your other rebirth which is not the will of God towards a sole accepted of him. Those who go into rebirth have fallen short. I was very holy as a hindu and started to seek God more: when I wanted to know more about salvation, this is where I became a New Creation in Christ or Christian ( 2 Cor 5:17 KJV ). These are the children of God ( Eph 1:3-14 KJV ): those that seek God eternal in the heavens with him ( Eph 2:6, Col 1:5, Phili 3:20 KJV ). Not according to this present life, world and the things thereof: this is what religion seeks and promotes, this is how their Good karma is measured, based upon material acquisitions and not on the eternal ( Col 1:5 KJV ). The Bible teaches that gain is not Godliness but Godliness with contentment is great gain. GOD is NOT the author of confusion but of peace: he is eternal ( 1 Tim 6:16 KJV ) and his form is the person of Jesus Christ ( 2 Cor 5:19, 1 Tim 1:16, 3:16 KJV ). The Lord thy God is one and never changes. There is none righteous ( Rom 3:10 KJV ): for all seek their own not the things which are Jesus Christ. Think for yourself Jenni: you are seeing it before your eyes, these holy doings are motivated by provision/ money and not love: as does all religion, they seek their own. God is able to make all Grace abound towards you having all sufficiency. This is why God alone is Righteous to be made righteous we trust that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again ( 1 Cor 15:1-4 KJV ), we trust his work on our behalf ( Rom 3:19-28, Eph 1:12-14 KJV ), now having the only means of Righteousness, which is the righteousness which is God ( Rom 3:26 KJV ) IMPUTED TO YOUR LIFE ACCOUNT, JUSTIFIED BY FAITH ALONE WITHOUT RELIGIOUS DOING OF YOUR OWN ( Rom 4:25, 5:1, Tit 3:5-7 KJV ). Through faith ( Eph 2:8-9 KJV ); the believer is now equipped to perform that which right or well pleasing to God, because Christ now lives, having put on the One New Man ( Col 3:10, 2 Cor 5:17, Gal 2:20 KJV ): the righteous working we perform or think are solely the doings and thoughts of God dwelling in our hearts by faith ( Phili 2:13 Eph 3:17, Col 1:27 KJV ). No man glories in his presence. We abound in the work of the Lord with thanksgiving ( 1 Cor 15:58 KJV ): being found in him ( phili 3:9 KJV ) without our works but complete through faith in him and his work on our behalf ( Rom 3:25, 4:25, Col 2:10-14 KJV ).
