From an Indian living in the USA, I truly understand what you are saying. I left India a long time ago, 31 years exactly, and its a completely different India now. The longing to go back increases every day, I even have a home and my mother still lives there. I need to find a way to go back...I have succeeded in building a business here but I realize I am not really living a happy life here...money can only give you so much. Once you have a roof and 3 meals, then happiness takes a different meaning.

Usually we will be too much attached to roots, where born , childhood years , but in your case your soul is connected with Indian culture , emotions , and the way people interacted with you, with positive vibes , that will not fade so easily
Absolutely right. I have been living in Germany since two years and the loneliness is absolutely nerve wrecking. Every single point you stated, I could absolutely relate to. 🙋
Wow! Thank you for sharing and - stay strong ☺️ I also look forward to Indian celebrations in Germany like the amazing Diwali or Navratri celebrations organised by the Indian students in most of the major cities :)
After seeing your video, I felt this can be a good way to increase tourism to India West provides clean roads, people following rules, money, organized life etc but big negatives are people become lonely and miss easy going life. India mainly has easy going people, no real rules, celebrations and lots of people. You will never feel lonely. May be westerners who need some amount of people-to-people connection to overcome loneliness can come to India.
I can understand what you are talking about. I'm living in India now, and when I come back home to Poland, there is always something that I miss. Small talks with people, shopkeepers who know you, and being invited to any small ceremonies are definitely the same for me. 😉
Jenni, have you heard about Rev Ferdinand Kittel? He was also German and came to India in 1853, learning Kannada. He even wrote a Kannada English dictionary. His contribution to Kannada literature was immense.

As an Indian who has travelled a bit and lived abroad in more than one place, each time I go to one of those very organised countries, I miss the organic craziness of life that is India, that is so forgiving in every way, asking us bluntly how we can be of service to others and not be selfish. This makes me feel alive in India all the time!! In one word, I feel "light" in India, and light has more than one meaning!!! Much love!
I am Indian living in western country for long time. I recently went to India and while returning felt really sad. I use to go to temple everyday and sit there for 1 hr. and that gave so much peace. Already started missing it.
Thank you Jenni, for having such loving thoughts about our India (India is as much yours as it is mine) I'm Ravi from Mumbai but most of the time I live in Toronto, Canada, and I can relate to all the things you have mentioned in this video. India is not only a great nation but also it is famous for its ancient history and civilization. People are spreading love & peace because of its roots called "Sanatana Dharma"... I can feel the sincerity in your appreciation of India. As some others have mentioned you have gone deep into the Indian system which is really great of you. We love to see you moving to India, if you are missing it so much. Viel Liebe aus Indien
From what I saw and heard in your video, I could make out you are an Indian in a Western body. You look lovely in our attires and all of them suits you as well. I have travelled to the western countries and have admired the orderliness. I have also felt that we need to imbibe such qualities in us as well. At the same time, the longer you live in the west it becomes too stiffling for one's comfort. As an Indian, I enjoy my independence here in my homeland much more than in the western democracies. To me "rules are made for people, rather than the other way round". Too much orderliness should not take away one's happiness and peace of mind. We, as a nation, always welcome people like you.
Watching your video made me feel I was interacting with my own family. Most westerners and even some Indians do not realise that there is so much life and liveliness in every nook and corner. Doesn't have to be perfect . . . . its OK!
you just won my heart , you understand India more than other volggers. no foreigners can understand as much as u did , well done . I think the reason behind this is because you stayed with common Indian household and activelly participate in cultural festivels . congratulations 🎊 🎊 you just gained a subscriber. well done

I live in Canada and I can relate to your feelings about living in India. In west we live to work, but in India we work to live. People are living and working at the same time enjoying working to live. The social aspect is missing in the west, but in India, social aspect is built in the work culture.
I'm feeling so nice while watching this video, seeing some foreigner missing our India so much, as if it's their own 💞 India is very welcoming to all and I hope everyone would understand some day that India is not a 3rd world country, it is a whole lovely world on its own with all kinds of colorful we emotions.
Hehe... First time in Europe I missed the noise soo much... The streets were quite, there were less people on the streets... Being so used to the sounds of India I suddenly felt lonely 😂
Deep understanding of such diverse yet unique culture is the only way this kind of love and affection can be made from within. I exactly can contemplate what you mean , like I have been living in Europe for like 10 yrs now , all those fancy ads and lifestyle and all those sparkly lights are good for a short while then the home feelings kick in . Gosh india has developed so much and I am excited as ever to go back to my motherland . Awesome emotional experience and heartfelt video
I agree with most of your views. I was born and raised in India and living in USA for a long time now and I miss almost all the aspects you mentioned in your video about India. I never realized these precious things when I lived there, but after experiencing a different life style in a different country, I came to know the importance of all your points.

@@sanobermalhotra6895 Thank you 😊.. I am trying
Very nice Jenni, my daughter's friends attended her wedding 3 from US and 1 from Netherlands and 1 from. Italy. They loved the whole wedding experience and I got a chance to walk them through all the rituals and auspicious ceremonies. They loved it and it was our pleasure to have them there. So yes I share your enthusiasm for India. India is true spiritual and human experience.
The kind of person you are, you need people around you all the time, so this can happen in India and also "sab thik ho jayega and thik hai" everytime you will feel positivity around you. Thanks for sharing your emotion about India, come back to India.
You have won the hearts of us by your simplicity , your bubbly enthusiasm and your infectious smile.
thank you so much!! :)
@@Jenniji Would like to meet you in person the next time you come to India.
@@Jenniji i loved your suit!!! Where'd you get it from?
Thank you Jenny for showering so much of love for India 🇮🇳❤️. I think you have left India for a while but India hasn't left you yet. It is still in your heart as memories. ❤️
🥺🙏🙏🙏
Indians becomes foolish and Jenni earn money 😂😂😂..lots of hate from brilliant Indian
Yes, i am from Mysuru, india but working in china border. I wish you live your fullest life in india with joy and peaceful. Lots of love from India
Fraulien I think you were born in the wrong country but you have found your true self . ! Love your free spirit . You are a breath of fresh air because everybody in the west have a very disparaging image of my nation and for that dhanyabad from the bottom of my heart ,much love and Godbless !
As a indian 🇮🇳 , I should tell you thank you for this video.. Because everything you have told is true..most of the non indian dont know about this. I would not say In india there is no problem..It has few things like sometimes we do not get immediate solution for some issues..But i would definitely say it is one of the best country to live with peace and love making surroundings ❤❤❤❤❤
Now I am retired and live in Thailand. Many of the best parts of Thai culture are Indian in origin. India requires more energy and I am 74. I still love the go there. I always feel very contented and relaxed. I feel I will always get assistance if I need it from the people around me.
Oooo
@Jenniji are you in Munich? We often do Diwali functions here and make pani puri.
After seeing your video, I felt this can be a good way to increase tourism to India
West provides clean roads, people following rules, money, organized life etc but big negatives are people become lonely and miss easy going life.
"INDIA🇮🇳" It's not just a word, It's an Emotion... 💐💐💐
🙏Jai Hind 🇮🇳 Jai Bharat 🙏
Jenni, have you heard about Rev Ferdinand Kittel? He was also German and came to India in 1853, learning Kannada. He even wrote a Kannada English dictionary. His contribution to Kannada literature was immense.
veey very true and great and people still remember kettle by fa way i am pakka kannadati even i felt ur soul is still connected to india especially karnataka its amazing jenni to hear u abt all' what u experienced and shared. u look soooo beautiful in SEERE as called in kannada or saree.
Thank you for nice comments and having wonderful experience living in India. India is land of Dharma means live life always within the ambit of the law of the nature. That is why there is inner serenity within the all chaos and dirt that you might have seen everywhere in India. Hope your Indian journey will give you a life lesson on how to be a good human being and make you happy for rest of your life. God bless you.
🙏
You are amazing !! I am an Indian and have been living in USA for 14 years. You made me emotional !
Huge respect for all your kind words.. Thts y we say "Athithi devo bhava"..Lots of love from India.. ❤ feels so good to see how much memories you have made here.. Stay blessed❤❤😊
The pronunciation of each and every Indian word is just wowww.. Not even ppl from Mumbai western suburb pronounce so perfectly…. 👌👌👍🏼
Good observation that thing come to my mind also
I am a proud Indian American I have been living in US since 1994 since I was 14 I love and miss India especially the new India under new leadership since 2014 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🚩🚩🚩🚩 Bharat Mata Ki Jai.Even though I’m from North part of India I’m grateful to people from South part of 🇮🇳 for keeping Sanatan Alive.

Persons like you make the world a better place to live. Love u sister from KOLKATA, INDIA.
It's overwhelming for indians hearing this and thank you for understanding india better than visiting ❤❤ India is incredible in many ways
Thank you Jenni, for having such loving thoughts about our India (India is as much yours as it is mine) I'm Ravi from Mumbai but most of the time I live in Toronto, Canada, and I can relate to all the things you have mentioned in this video. Remember one can go out of India but India never goes out of that person. There will always be a little bit of India left in that person. India will forever welcome you with open arms. Until next time...Namaste 🙏
You really had the essence of being Indian. One more thing of India is the love for parents and bonding between family.
India is not only a great nation but also it is famous for its ancient history and civilization.
People are spreading love & peace because of its roots called "Sanatana Dharma"...
From the childhood, Every Indian learn about the humanity & mankind which teaches us "The whole world as a family"...
We call our nation as "Mother India"...
Every indian are proud of their identity & their culture....

India is a beautiful country my dear ❤️
For me it’s part of my life 🙏
👍❤️
It's true! India has a natural flow to it & when you're in that zone you feel better & feel things will work out.
I think the reason behind this is because you stayed with common Indian household and activelly participate in cultural festivels .
congratulations 🎊 🎊 you just gained a subscriber. well done
I am living in Germany, and I can relate each and everything what you said. and I really miss India too much.
Please come back to India, I am missing you very much from my heart and I watch your video every day and I am crying. I miss you love from India. I miss you love from India.❤😊
Your understanding of India is very nice I wish you visite India again and again and some vlogs
I concur with everything you said. Seven years ago I visited India with my wife and we had similar experiences as you did.
We are from Trinidad in the Caribbean
I know I can relate being an Indian and experiencing the essence of our great motherland is a blessing in itself. I can feel you. Do come back soon and while staying in Germany keep India alive in your heart you'll be fine ♥️⭐
I live in Canada and I can relate to your feelings about living in India. In west we live to work, but in India we work to live. People are living and working at the same time enjoying working to live. The social aspect is missing in the west, but in India, social aspect is built in the work culture.
The best quotes...
Live for work. And work for live.....
I REMEMBER THIS QUOTE...
Take a time it's a way of living... 😂😂😂👍 From Karnataka... Love you... Jennifer.
This is what India really is, but highly misunderstood by western world, no hard feelings for any western people lots of love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
I'm feeling so nice while watching this video, seeing some foreigner missing our India so much, as if it's their own 💞 India is very welcoming to all and I hope everyone would understand some day that India is not a 3rd world country, it is a whole lovely world on its own with all kinds of colorful we emotions.
Living outside India for my job, even my self got emotional. Thanks for reminding me of these points.
Wow! I didn't expect, so many people would actually connect to my points!
haha very relatable! Although sometimes it does get a little too noisy around here😅
😂😂🙏
Hehe... First time in Europe I missed the noise soo much... The streets were quite, there were less people on the streets... Being so used to the sounds of India I suddenly felt lonely 😂
And some nosy relatives and neighbors 😀
Haha it's like if you don't hear noises in India something is very wrong.
@@ravish05 my relatives aren't nosy. I think it depends on how every household is
Deep understanding of such diverse yet unique culture is the only way this kind of love and affection can be made from within.
U have described India as an emotion.u r such a positive vibe.

I agree with most of your views. I was born and raised in India and living in USA for a long time now and I miss almost all the aspects you mentioned in your video about India. I never realized these precious things when I lived there, but after experiencing a different life style in a different country, I came to know the importance of all your points.
Everything which you told is sooo true, the liveliness of this country is truly unmatched.i am saying this after having been in USA and Europe for sometime.
Lot of foreigners have made video about india with much love but no one like you. I felt it.
Naa...it was not cheesy at all. I felt like I saw my own life.
thats why our country is the BEST Thank you for visiting and loving INDIA ....proud to be an INDIAN . Always welcome
When I am watching i don't want to skip why you are explaining like a Joy,i am repeating to laugh my self thank you love from india 🇮🇳
Lots of love 💛Jenni, How can someone from Germany be more Indian than an Indian. Really overwehlmed by your love for India & its people. Come back soon, India is waiting to welcome you again. And Of course..... subscribed 👍
India is full of life love and joy.
Jennji 🧡🤍💚🙏🏻 Namashkar. I can totally relate to you because I have been missing India 🇮🇳 for four years now and it's going to be 7 more months before I return. I already bought my ticket to fly back. I'm American 🇺🇸 but have been living in Colombia 🇨🇴 in South America for many years now. The people here are much nicer than in the United States 🇺🇸 but Indians 🇮🇳 take the cake 🎂. They're the very very best. I hope you are able to go back soon. I'm going to be living there for probably the rest of my life in general.
JAI HIND 🇮🇳🙏🏻🧡🤍💚💪🏽👍🏻😎❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!
I know a German gentleman who lived in India for so many years and feels the same about India, He is more Indian than most of we Indians... You can meet him in Germany, I can share his contact to you with his permission...
I have never seen any "videshi" being so good with pronunciation of a neutral indian accent of hindi. Like if I heard this voice with my eyes closed I wouldn't believe that this person wasn't born and brought up in India!! Even her english has a tiny hint of indianess to it!!
Jenniji, you are open-minded, vivacious and bursting with life and that's why India is the closest match as a country for you. i live in the USA and I love the orderliness, the hygiene but the isolation and sterility are the flip sides. Your videos make me excited about India.❤
You should come to Malaysia, the Indian community here is huge! You can feel a little bit at home, I learned a lot about the Indian culture here, for sure I will visit the India to know even more and get connected with the same topics you have mentioned on the video! Thanks for sharing!
No it's only Tamil culture there. India has other states with different culture each
India is far near than Malaysia from Germany if possible she would like to come to india my dear friend
Thank you for representing India in such a beautiful way... I really love India from bottom of my heart....Specially food and people
Western people accepting indian culture and we here in india we are moving towards western stuff from clothing, food to etiquetes. Good to see foreigners accepting and exploring
india
This is what it's like we find western culture attractive and they find our culture attractive
Omg you were looking fabulous in Indian ware. I am from Bangalore. Your kannada is much better than some North Indians
Your love for India is truly amazing! I have never seen a RUclipsr as passionate as you! It felt very real.
I stay in South India … I understand that feeling of noise … our noise is so endearing….we Indians take these little things for granted.. I feel grateful. Thank you Jenni
Really true

I just hope this is not yours last Vlog on India. Yes, quite understandably you must have other priorities in yours life. Very few Foreign vloggers have touch our sensibility and earn our respect. You are one of them. Thanks so much for exploring our Country. All the best for yours future endeavors. Take Care. Stay Blessed. Most Welcome to India, whenever you feel like Visiting.
Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Am totally into what ever you said. Every word. That's the reason I will never leave India cause there is something about this country and the people living in it are so humble. Man am so lucky to be born in India
this video is sooooooooo RAW .one of the best thing about this video is.the way you were sitting throughout the video one knee perpendicular to another knee . i mean who will do such relatable stuff ? NONE !! you're looking like an angel .
Having lived for quite a few years myself in USA I can truly understand your nostalgia. I am pretty sure there will be quite a few families to welcome your "pilgrimage" to Mysore or Bangalaore or wherever you picked up Hindi and Kannada. .
Your love for my country is so genuine.. it'll be a honor hosting you in Delhi whenever you're back in India
