Your lawn looks great. How mine used to look before my hubby past. Now I'm learning and wanting my lawn to look like it used to look. Thank you for your videos🙌🏽
I too am so sorry for your loss 😔 but I hear you ❣️ I lost my husband as well 2020 unfortunately the yard is kind of pootie. So I know what you're talking about now we have to learn that talent. But we can do it 😄💪🇺🇲💗
I love that when using the spray-in products you point the hose downward towards the lawn, instead of holding the hose horizontally. I personally found that this makes a huge difference. Love the channel. Keep up the great work.
You are very thorough in your presentation. I appreciate the fact that you included the price of each item (which is rare); that you go through the ingredients and the purpose of each; and that you show that you are wearing gloves, which some people don't show at all. I won't feel like I'm flying blind when I start on the greening of the lawn.
Thank you. I try to explain why I'm using what I use so if people are following me and have the same issues I have they have something to guide them through the process. I'm glad you found this video helpful and I appreciate your support. Thank you once again
Your lawn looks great. These new products are interesting. Nice to know people can access to a fertilizer with the soil amendments without having to order products that are only available online. Love all of the great information you gave in this video.
Thank you. Yes I was definitely shocked to see this fertilizer with all the soil amendments inside of it available in a big box store. That was major plus for me purchasing this product. They had a very nice and interesting product lineup. So I was like let me give this a shot. Now I'm hoping it actually works. Thank you again for checking out my video I appreciate the support 🙏🏾
Your big box focus is really helpful. I had no idea these products contained these ingredients. Nice to know I can pick them up locally. I will be giving it a try.
I was shocked myself to see this line of products because you only see these type of products online in high price lawn items so it was nice to see the regular homeowners can experiment with these products at a reasonable cost.
Those products does sound nice. The only thing i would do different is, put down the granular, then the liquid with iron, but let the liquid sit on the leaf for a bit before water it down. At least a few hours. In my experience, most iron products work best that way. But i could be wrong. Thanks for the info 👍🏾👍🏾
Wow, your yard is looking really good. I just started using humic acid and kelp and you’ve helped me quite a bit. Thank you. Keep doing what you’re doing. I have cold season grass in Seattle.
Great job, that lawn looks awesome and your cut height is $$ for that fescue. Little hint for everyone, let that sea kelp and iron sit on the blades for an hour or so before watering in. Both will absorb through blades not just roots and help darken up quickly. The kelp will help protect cool season grass from heat stress. If being applied with liquid nitrogen then yeah water right away as nitrogen can oxidize quickly if left exposed to the air.
I discovered the sta-green products as well this year and love what they've done to my lawn. My go to now. Love that companies are starting to compete and make quality products for diyers. And I can drive and pick it up rather than waiting on shipping.
I tried the ironite you suggested last year. Im just not satisfied. So this year im going to try this. Dont get me wrong, my yard looks better than everybody elses in my neighborhood. I have just become a lawn addict thanks to you!
I'm shocked you didn't like the ironite. Ironite is one of my favorite fertilizers to use when I need that green boost. I'm new to this fertilizer so only time will tell if it works. But I'm glad I could help you become a lawn addict Lol thank you for your support

Lol overseed will do the trick also. I would love to get into a 15k aq yard and go to work but you're definitely right about the cost because seed and fertilizer prices are way too high. Thank you for your support
Excellent video, and your yard is delivering. I just threw down two bags of the Sta Green. I think I am going to like it, and the price is reasonable. Thing is, now the bag only covers 4000 sq. ft. Still a good price and what is in the bag seems beneficial overall, especially the slow release. Prill size is nice and gives good coverage, and the bag itself is strong and easy to carry. I may try the liquid products in the near future.
Yes the product seems very premium from the bag to the prill. It's a great product overall to me so far and I definitely saw they changed the size of the bag but I'll still use it. Thank you for your support
Your lawn looks great. Thanks for the informative video on these products. Historically, I used milorganite as an organic fertilizer but it's gotten expensive. Going to try these products moving forward

Your lawn looks great. I just don't know why none of the Lowe's near me carry that specific stay green fertilizer bag. They have a bunch of other but that specific bag is essentially a milogarnite replacement with the added benefits of sea kelp and no phosphorus
Thank you. Thats interesting, I know they changed the bag color now so maybe check for the new bag. But I definitely like it for the added benefits of the other added amendments

If you can get your hands on Milorganite or Sta Green Natural Fertilizer you can put some of that down because its not as strong as a regular high synthetic fertilizer. That'll help feed your lawn

When you walk on my yellow grass, it sounds like walking on potato chips, lol. Doing some landscaping and concrete work and it has been tough not being able to water it because of that work. Hoping the products I chose, Milo, humid acid pellets, soil loosener hose end spray and root ruckus will help get me where I need to be. About 1/4 of the yard will be reseeded this week due to some soil regrading I had to do for proper water runoff away from the foundation. So I hope I can get to your level by this Halloween!
You're back! Excited to see you back on my feed! My grass took a beating with the heat over the past few weeks. What brand of grass do you use? So dark and thick, I'm thinking about switching up from GCI.
I'm always amazed at how good your lawn looks. Quick question, how soon can i apply this after applying the bioadvanced fungus treatment that you suggested?
I was considering this fert at the beginning of the season but saw a lot of people saying that the source of the micros in the bag aren't really plant-available and its basically just marketing making you feel like you're getting a fancy product. I'm sure your lawn is gonna be money either way because you do all the extra things a lawn wants--not much of a test-case for the average lawn and average homeowner, though.
My man, thank you for sharing your knowledge. I am confused with the application rate for the liquid aerator. I need to go heavy as I am in a new build compacted clay soil. The bottle states 34oz total treating up to 4K sqft. That’s exactly how much I have, do I use an entire bottle?! Like diluting 2oz in 2 gallons sprayer until it’s all gone?how much do I need to apply to 4 k sqft maxing it out? Thanks
One 32oz bottle will cover 4k sq ft so use the whole bottle diluted in 16 gallons of water total. You'll be applying at a rate of 2oz per 1 gallon of water. Thank you for watching. I'm glad I could help
@@LawnAmateur Ok and clearly you didn’t experience any burn, good to know! I’ve always used Scott’s and Menards 4 step programs but have been diving more into it and been trying your methods and have had great success!

Hey Darryl, i put the granular down but did not get to put the aerator nor the lawn food because the rain is coming. What you think i should have put them?
How can it get any greener? 🤷🏾♀️ 😂 thanks again for all the info this product is sure to keep all of the ‘green ppl’ i love sta green products because they’re majority pet safe as well as all being eco friendly. Happy Father’s Day btw see u for the update!!
Thats what I'm wondering if the lawn can get any greener lol but sta green have a whole line of interesting products for many different applications needed. So I'll be sticking with them the rest of this season to see how they actually work out and yes this line was pet and people safe so thats a major plus. Found the same at Lowes here where I live and put out the granular a few days ago. It's about half the $ that I've been paying for another granular. Can't wit to see the results.
Is the sta green lawn aerator safe to apply at the same time as seeding a new lawn? I cant find an answer whether ammonium sulfate is safe or not. Thanks!
Nice! one question. Is there anything in the big box stores that will work the same as micro Greene? I just finished my last bit and wanted to try other products. May have to reorder if it's not available in the store. Thanks so much, I'm still learning things. Keep up the great work and if this product works for you I may get some before the price goes up lol
I want to avoid having my lawn turn brown this year in the extreme heat.... I got a liquid 10-10-10 fertilizer as well as liquid iron.... should I get the sta green granules as well?
Would these be good if the temp is over 95 consistently or would the grass burn since its a ton of product. Reason im asking is bc im new to this stuff and want to learn mlre before i work on my lawn to vet that greener look. Also i have two grasses fescue and brumeuda of however its spelled lol
You can apply these products just don't apply when the sun is fully out. Wait until the sun goes down or apply early morning before the sun comes up and you should be fine. Make sure to water deeply
Hi, you can look at a product called Atrazine that will handle crabgrass and other weeds or you can look into Spectracide the (purple top) that one is made for st augustine and centipede you can find that in most Home Depot, Lowe's or Walmart
Don't worry stay consistent with the lawn you took the first step in eliminating the weeds. Now wait until late summer early fall to start planting new grass seed. You can definitely do it. Its not a hard process just take a little TLC.
Have you ever see Gordon Ramsey's original cooking show? He went to failing restaurants and made them better. I think I wanna see you do this with lawns 😂
No you don't it automatically mixes with water from the hose. If you top it off with water you're actually over diluting it more than you actually should
Lol I have to give people the good information and the reason why I'm using the product some people come out and dump a bunch of stuff on the lawn for no reason

How your lawn look after 2 weeks?
Looking really good
I want to avoid having my lawn turn brown this year in the extreme heat.... I got a liquid 10-10-10 fertilizer as well as liquid iron.... should I get the sta green granules as well?
No just use the 10-10-10 and the iron. The lawn need water atleast 2 deep waterings a week to stop it from turning brown
You should post links my dude. Nice vid.
Links to the products? Thank you for your support
@@LawnAmateur Yeah most product review channels do for my plethora of hobbies but great video nonetheless

Does anyone know what the drop spreader setting is for sta green natural 16-0-10?
I am not sure. You would probably have to test it until you get the right setting you like.
Hi, can u apply all 3 in an area?
Yea you can
I wish you could come treat my lawn smh after killing weeds half the lawn looks dead 😢
Don't worry stay consistent with the lawn you took the first step in eliminating the weeds. Now wait until late summer early fall to start planting new grass seed. You can definitely do it. Its not a hard process just take a little TLC.
@@LawnAmateur thank you for the advice it’s greatly appreciated
Have you ever see Gordon Ramsey's original cooking show? He went to failing restaurants and made them better.
I think I wanna see you do this with lawns 😂
🤣🤣 that would be fun
Is it ok if i use Lown food and lown aerator im my lown ??
Yes
On the same time is it fine??
?
Amazing. Very nice.
Thank you
Paint the fence! It will make the lawn pop.
I'm actually thinking about redoing the fence
@@LawnAmateur I could’ve sworn I’ve seen you around. I live in Gloucester county, nj
Everyone has a twin lol
Bro gotta top that ortho off with water before spraying
No you don't it automatically mixes with water from the hose. If you top it off with water you're actually over diluting it more than you actually should

@@LawnAmateur might want to check the 9:25 minute mark. Your welcome
I'm not familiar with that product but from what I heard him say he thinned and watered down his product
✍️🏾
Dude, your yard was already green to begin with
Less talking and more "Grinding" Brother I almost passed out 6 mins in waiting for a Mower or something to start
Lol I have to give people the good information and the reason why I'm using the product some people come out and dump a bunch of stuff on the lawn for no reason
to much filler, talk to much
You can always go somewhere else did you think about that?
