Haiti has only 7 athletes this year representing us. We really wanted to be known for something else than poverty and violence. You cannot imagine what these athletes have been through to be there. I am so very proud of being Haitian and of every single one of them ❤
The PH outfit was designed by a Filipino designer. The cream longsleeve you can see is called a barong and it's the traditional garment here. The pop of color part is supposed to represent armor and the colors are based on the PH flag.
Thailand's uniform is such a big topic in our country. We do not like them too, but this is already wayyy better than the first version that was designed. People hate it so bad we unite to tear whoever responsible for that first design into pieces on the Internet that they had to change the design. And since the time frame was so short they had to use the e-sport team uniform instead. So yes! You are right! That's actually our e-sport uniform 😅
Because the first one looks like government uniform and you will only see them in government sector. It is not representing any Thai identity but old man uniform style. For outsiders you may think that way but as insiders, it's such a shame. However, first and second both look sick tbh.

Everyone is talking about Mongolia's outfits, but I think the gaze that the models had was literally half the LOOK, the way they were looking at the camera made, it almost makes you want to bow down and accept them as their rulers

Afghanistan had beautiful outfits ❤ and to think as a war torn country and under Taliban control we still had 6 athletes competing, including 3 women!!! So proud of my beautiful country 🇦🇫
I like it but I wish they did a variation for the women like using a filipiana and pair it with barong for men. Would've also appreciated it if they did a little more instead of being very formal and show off more about the culture, but it's still really good.

The philippines one is screaming patriotism, The pose and tilting of body is showing respect to the philippine flag. Along with the barong and philippine flag on the shoulder. +It looked hella good too.
Maybe it's cuz I'm Filipino but I really like the Philippines outfits a lot cuz it really showcases the culture well (imo) cuz the base is similar to a barong (the national clothing for men, traditionally worn on weddings and presidents wear it too) and the color they have shows the flag colors (🇵🇭) really well

Thailand situation is kinda sad cuz the original ceremony outfit was so bad the whole country hated it so they decided to drop it and go with the sport uniform instead 😢
Finally found someone who had the actual photo of the Philippine uniform. I think it absolutely slaps. And just like Mongolia the locals here didn't like it as well, they said it look like the athletes have broken arm which is a stretch. I'm just thankful that the Philippines didn't went the safe route just like we always do, cause Mongolia suddenly decided to cook, atleast we didn't look regular lol
