Bubble fishing is my new favorite panfish and pond fishing technique. I catch everything on them. I use small flies, jigs and even small plastic worms on a Aberdeen hook. It’s awesome
Learned about these in an article about 30 years ago. It suggested using a Royal Coachman as the fly “when all else failed.” It’s the first thing I use to start out with. Nice trip down memory lane.

Cool... the setup has made a difference over the years. I keep a bubble float handy whenever I go fishing just in case!
Very clear and concise video. Well done.
Thanks!

You bet!👍
Got an affiliated link for the beads you're using? Or just a bit of info about them? Size? Where you got them? It's kind of important.
Get the assorted beads. Bead size will vary based on the bubble float used. Prefer to go with the smallest bead that will hold the bubble in place.
@@COAFFieldTeam I've got assorted beads, most don't come with clear beads. Ordered some from walleyesupply, 5mm.
When I trout fish I use 2lb Fluro, do you know if this will work with the beads the way you do it or is it too thin?
2lbs test will likely break with the beads looped on the line... would suggest the adjusta bubble rig.
@@COAFFieldTeam thanks, I've been using Carolina Keepers.
