    finally...i have been searching for this kind of tutorial about cloth/hair rigging using bone in blender...even thought i do not understand what are you saying but i do understand every thing that you put a point on it. keep on do the good work dude 😁

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! I am working on a nice Lolita skirt,and I am hoping I can rig it with this video series as help! Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow, but blender's rigging mechanics are a steep learning curve for me.

    I was wondering how you made two cloths collide with each other without intersecting one another (the one with the pink haird girl that was shown in the intro). Could you make a tutorial about that in the future?

      Thank you for the question.
      If it is an object applied with “cloth physics simulation”. You can turn on the object collision check box under it.
      If it is an object with no physics simulation applied. You can turn on the “Collision” button in the physics properties menu.
      After turning on the buttons, I think the objects can collide properly.

    hi, i was trying to use a longer animation for my rig, but after applying the physics calculations from 10:15, the physics only works for 250 frames, i was wondering how do i increase the physics animation to stay longer than 250 frames.

      In the physics properties menu (the blue circle icon on the bottom right area),
      There is a row called “Cache”. Turn it on and you will see two rows called “simulation Start” and “End”. The default value for “End” is set as 250 frames. If you want the simulation to work beyond frame 250, you may set a larger value here.

    如果可以的話希望可以做關於像衣服較長的Kimono應該怎樣放custom bone和weight paint. 因為真的很少人做额外骨架的tutorial

      和服放custom bone這個主題我近期應該還不會做。但和服類的MMD模型應該有蠻多人做過的,我推薦你可以去載個穿和服的MMD模型,然後進blender來看,大概能抓到要怎麼放骨的感覺

      I don't think so. This tutorial is specifically for animation-used models in blender. It may not be applicable in game engine

    Hello, I"ve a question did you know how to add different physics value to a long hair (Twintails hair)?
    For example for the top bones, I want them to stay in position with little physic movements and by the end of the hair, the hair will have more physics by having more physic movements. I wonder if this is possible?
    Like MMD we can set different values for each physics but to blender the cloth simulation apply the same value to all bones.
    I hope this question make sense.

      There is a row called "pin group" in the cloth simulation parameters. You can fill in a vertex group with painted weight into it. Weight of 1.0 means that the vertex will be completely static. Weight of 0.0 means that the vertex will 100% follow the physics settings to move.
      For a long stroke of hair, you can paint the vertex near the root with high value,and paint 0.0 to vertex that near the tip.
