@@xobelladonna2443this isn’t true at all as most dogs will behave like this when stressed or anxious. In a shelter, they have no reason to be trustful of humans on top of the stress and anxiety of close proximity. Humans really suck at reading a dog’s body language, which tells you the difference between fearful/anxious reactive and aggressive, as well as when they are close to their limit. She looks fantastic and as an owner of a VERY reactive dog, I am so happy to see you groom her as well as you did.
We got a senior dog rescue recently and, at 11 years old, he’s been through a lot too. He was afraid of everything-even going outside. He’s finally trusting us now and he is such a pleasure! Please consider rescuing a senior dog to join your family. It’s been nothing but good! 😍 ❤️
I love how you can handle an aggressive doggie from an understanding position. It's difficult not to react instinctively and angrily at a dog that attempts to bite. Bravo!
You groomed her with patience . I appreciated when you said I am a trained professional because you know how to approach the situation .
I admire your dedication to each pet that comes in, you don’t give up easily if at all. You treat each of them all with respect and care. Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do.❤🐶 🐱
I have a soft spot for elderly animals as I own a 16 year old Norwegian Forest Cat who is 100% dependent on me for all his needs. Thank You Vanessa for being so patient and good at your job! ♥🐶👍
The way her name (Clicquot) is pronounced (kliko) made me giggle. A kliko is also a name for a wastebin in Dutch, so everytime you said her name I was like "So she's like a wastebin!"
Poor baby, being so stressed. You did an amazing job, like you always do. 💕
Poor baby being so stressed. So glad you were able to help her.
You are 100% committed and this is your calling! And the pets you groom are the luckiest!
THIS IS MY DOG'S DOPPELGANGER!
thank you, this helps me a lot, trying to groom my boy. He isn't aggressive but he doesn't hold still, at all. He is 13, and can't be sedated due to CHF. The crooked beard at the end is so relateable. My boy's beauty pagent days are behind us, and now it's just for comfort.
Me too! It's so exhausting 😢
@@cecilylinn606 It is, and frustrating and dangerous, I don't know how pros do it, You have to be tough to be a pet groomer.
Your patience for pups with issues or anxiety is inspiring
Fabulous job!
I have a 16 year old Bichon that won’t hold still for a complete groom.
I wish a groomer would have the patience like you!!!
Thank you for these great videos!
❤❤
I am beyond words at the kindness you show. Thank you.
Cracking job, just feel so sorry for what that poor doggo went through.
Poor baby. She looks like my Alice. She hated grooming too. I always thought she was a Lhasa but she looked quite a lot like this girl. My Alice lived to be 19. ❤
You did an amazing job there, poor little girl must be so freaked out from her past. ❤
So much patience, love and understanding.......and experience. Bravo, you!
You did a wonderful job with her. I'm sure deep down she appreciates the shave and the cleaner look on her despite how stressed she was
Owner and doggie are blessed to have your help and vast knowledge for her groom.
Poor pup, definetly had it hard before finding her loving forever home. Hope the little pup realizes she is loved. Hats off to the groomer for having a natural ability, and strong empathy for her furry clients.
My dog is a rescue with an unknown past, but we have some ideas from the scars on his body. He is terrified of any loud noise, storms, and men he doesn't know. I know most dogs are afraid of storms, but I have to sedate him to protect him and my doors/windows.
I really appreciate the care and compassion you showed this scared little girl! She's not bad, she's traumatized.
It might also have to do with her eye sight..... But you still did a great job..... And she will feel better once at home...
Thank God you are safe and willing to help this poor girl out. So sad 😢that she has been through so much. She is very blessed to have a good, loving owner and groomer.
She had some serious Grinch feet!
You are amazing - so much compassion , patience and skill. She ( and her owners ) were lucky to find you.
This video made me more anxious than watching a horror film
Poor old lady. Thank you for helping her!
Poor sweetie! She just has gone through too much to put up with anything else. 💛
Her professionalism always amazes but her compassion I suspect is equally part of this successful groom. It's not just a job. She cares and it shows. .
You are so amazing with all dogs and this warmed my heart ❤️❤️❤️
