Ok as a self proclaimed Uglydolls fanatic (FUCKIGN hate that movie) who will one day make a video essay on it, the visuals of Uglydolls is actually pretty good! I mean the “pretty dolls” look very, meh. But the designs for the Uglydolls themselves and the town is actually really good! Very cute and creative! It’s definitely the story itself that is the cause of most problems in that movie (and the fact that no actual care was put into it 💀)

As someone who grew up with Barbie films, I neeeeeed you to review it. I'm 20 and I still watch them every once in awhile. Absolutely classics. Also inspired my absolute love for lost princess stories.
I was way more of a Barbie girl than a Disney girl so Barbie was my entire childhood. I'm 19 and I also regularly watch the movies. I have a collection of DVDS and I'm only missing a couple of the earlier ones (Nutcracker and Swan Lake are the two I remember missing off the top of my head).
You know the scenery in this movie is actually really well done, and the 2D drawings of the characters look way better than the 3D models we got. It feels like it was so close to being a success but falling just short

I remember picking up this movie at a stall at my church when I was 4 years old. I was so excited to find it because the rest of the movies where all adult actions. Cost 50p and went to my grandmas for the night. I fell in love with it, and all the songs. When I rewatched it a few months ago, I took great joy in showing my friends the wonderful animations. My favourite includes the black void eyes of the unicorn and the princes hair style. Love people discovering crappy childhood favourite movies of mine. If it weren’t for nostalgia alone, I too would find them ridiculous. (Let’s be honest, even with the nostalgia it’s still ridiculous) Would love to see some barbie reactions! ♥️♥️

i haven't seen the video yet but this made me remember sindy. i have this movie on dvd in the most 2000's fashion ever (it is from 2006). it is on a double sided dvd in a 4 movie box set. together with something from my little pony and friends, alice through the looking glass (1998) and some instructional film about how to become a ballet dancer. i thought sindy was absolutely terrifying as a kid but i still watched it quite a fiew times and i wouldn't be surprised if the dvd is completely scratched (the suffering of double sided dvds).
This movie was part of my childhood, I loved it and hated it so so much for obvious reasons and thanks to you mentioning than John Lennon (it shook me so I had to do some research) I found out that it was actually John Nettles who voiced him and also the magical wand and also the king, and this is very shocking because me and my mom are addicted to Midsomer Murders so yeah... wow funny little fact haha. PLEASE review all of the barbie movies i would religiously watch all of them
i haven't seen the video yet but this made me remember sindy. i have this movie on dvd in the most 2000's fashion ever (it is from 2006). it is on a double sided dvd in a 4 movie box set. together with something from my little pony and friends, alice through the looking glass (1998) and some instructional film about how to become a ballet dancer. i thought sindy was absolutely terrifying as a kid but i still watched it quite a fiew times and i wouldn't be surprised if the dvd is completely scratched (the suffering of double sided dvds).

This movie was part of my childhood, I loved it and hated it so so much for obvious reasons and thanks to you mentioning than John Lennon (it shook me so I had to do some research) I found out that it was actually John Nettles who voiced him and also the magical wand and also the king, and this is very shocking because me and my mom are addicted to Midsomer Murders so yeah... wow funny little fact haha. Thanks a bunch for watching this and sorry you had to go through it but now is part of you as it is of all of us who watched it :3

I had this movie and loved it as a child. Looking back at it now, it’s still very much nostalgic, but my goodness the animation is dated! 😮
