Agreed. While I am not as much a fan of the Shorts format, I will take it over not seeing some animals done at all. I would wonder if perhaps the shorts, once there are enough of them, could be compiled together and rereleased as a normal video, like a "Tierzoo quick-lists compilation" video.

Worth noting, they aren't locked to costal and marine servers and can be found in urban/semiurban invironments surprisingly far in land, especially near human's garbage disposal facilities
We live far inland, near the Louisiana/Texas border and have noticed seagulls near lakes and rivers. They're not overly abundant, but you do see them flying overhead when driving on bridges from time to time.
I live in a city about ten miles from the sea and there are lots of gulls around, usually spreading rubbish around, bullying the pigeons and feuding with crows.

I've seen big seagulls kill and swallow small cats and dogs it depends what species you get in your area. I used to live in an area with these en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-headed_gull that are are a foot and a half long and only weigh less than a pound. Now I live in an area with these monsters. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_herring_gull a 2 foot long or more and 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 pounds of pissed of bird that never seem to be in groups of less than 6 of the damn things.
What birds of prey would those be? Seagulls are pretty big, it takes a large bird to kill one. Hawks or kestrels aren't really built for that. Certain species of falcons do hunt seagulls but there are probably easier meals for them too. And eagles are rarely agile enough for it, although the one in the video certainly got lucky.
Those bigger birds of prey are more scared of humans and don't usually hang around population centers! By being less shy, seagulls have been able to stay in the "safe zone". But, urban ecologists have noticed more and more birds of prey becoming braver and hunting in urban centers, so maybe seagulls won't be so safe for much longer.

The only place I ever saw sea gulls in Downstate Illinois was around Shelbyville.
