When I see you posted, I NEVER scroll you over. NEVER! You always have great recipes, your voice, your personality, your music.... I ALWAYS leave with a smile. Thank you for being you. Love from Puerto Rico ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ P.S. By the way, prices will never gone down ANYWHERE.
I use chipped roast beef and season it with dill, oregano, and basil, and just heat it up a bit in a skillet, give it a quick fry, and then add american cheese and mozzarella and it tastes so much like an authentic cheese steak. I do add cooked onions and peppers to it in the end as well. Sometimes ill serve it over fried potato cubes. But roast beef lunch meat is pretty reasonably priced here so its a good alternative to steak which is much higher priced. Your recipe also looked very good!
Hi Dave, I just cooked a huge ham butt yesterday. We had some last night with scalloped potatoes and peas. It was so good, but I have lots more to carve off that ham. I hear you about beef getting beyond price for us too. We are now using more ham and sausages etc. I tried beef tortellini, and ground pork in new recipes. Seems we have to do what we can today to eat. I like to get some beef and vegetables in the can once a week, and use canned chicken as well. Love this recipe as all your recipes come out wonderful.
Hy Dave. Here in the Caribbean "3rd world country" , only the meat is Srd360,-. A little bit more then $10,-. And mushrooms , chicken broth, paprika ,cream and cheese are all luxury items over here. Very expensive oh dear. But i saved this recipe. Gonna try it one day. 😊
A week or so ago I got 80/20 hamburger for $2.99 a pound. I got the limit of 15 pounds and no it was not in a tube. I am in NW Oregon and I have seen it on sale like this several times here lately. I only buy meat now when it is on sale.
Hello my friend Dave yes, that looks delicious. Yes, everything is pricey me too. I make a nice pasta something like yours also budget friendly everything nowadays you have to watch. It looks delicious. I will try it. Thank you for sharing another yummy recipe. Enjoy your day and God bless everyone.🙏😋💕🌍
We get our meat at the local butcher/slaughterhouse. They have a lot of competition around here from chain stores. So to keep people buying they have better prices.
I'm subscribed and glued to ypur screen, you are teaching me all my favorites,MAN!! i love your cooking Dave. I'm In florida now, ground beef is same price here maybe a bit more. I live in New York june to october so i'm curious what it will be there.
Prices are high, but the CEOs and other board members are raking in the profits. The CEO of Kroger admitted to jacking up prices on commodities like eggs and milk and other staples simply to accrue more profit. So, that "inflation" is controlled, and the consumers pay the price for their greed. Anyhow, that dish looks wonderful! I think I'd melt some cream cheese or add well-whipped yogurt in place of the heavy cream (not a fan), and it should do the trick. Thanks, Dave! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! 😊
Dave , great recipe & yes on us & 1 of the girls as the 6 year old, she does not like the mushrooms, i think it's the texture, they like cheez whiz & rigaton pasta i think i will put out some oval, steak rolls untoasted & red grape juice to drink. Keep your stick on the ice pal, ice will be here soon
Hey Steve. Great. It might be the texture on the mushrooms. They kind of grow on you though. LOL. I love cheez whiz as well. Hope all is well your way and see you at the lodge.
Dave I’ve been a loyal subscriber for a long time. Youve got 1m subscribers. Surely you’re monetizing and can afford steak. Still a loyal subscriber. I enjoy your videos. I’m in Los Angeles. Ground beef can be over $10 a pound here. Crazy what’s happening.
That's insane. I make a moderate income and steak is still really expensive here. I have it about once a month or so if even that. Prices are terrible.
wow, that's a crazy price,i'm here in Florida and its going up at publix ,about 47lb but you can get organic cheaper at whole foods with prime member, crazy

Hey looks good minus the peppers. Is there something else I could use instead?
You could leave them out if you like.
First I read “Philly Cheesecake Pasta” and was shocked for a moment😂

Lol. I can see that.
I buy a 10 pound of ground chuck in a roll for $40 at Walmart. I’m in the Houston area.
That's not too bad.
Nice ! have never seen that price. great.
Genuinely curious, why do you add oil before cooking the ground beef? I never have, no one I know does, Am I missing out on something ?
I know. It's my pan. Everything sticks to the steel.
