Could you add the option of buying 3 sticky pad sized vinyl stickers to the rear bumper purchase? I want to buy, but I want to be able to take it off without damaging the silver paint and would rather not have to buy the entire length bumper vinyl just to put the cover on top of it
Can you do one of these for the exposed paint work on the inside of the boot door (below the window)? I find this gets a bit scratched up shutting the door on a full boot! The vinyl ones.
Hi Simon whilst on the subject of security I recently had my spare wheel and sure cover stolen from the car at Gatwick long stay car park. No cctv covering the car park and police out taking any action? The wheel is secure by two JLR locking wheel nuts which dont stop anyone who want to take your wheel. I’m not alone with this issue and aware of others that have had their wheel stolen whilst at airport car park. Do you have a solution to securing the spare wheel on the back door? I cant seem to find anything on the market and I’m reluctant to replace to have it stolen again or have to take it off and store in the back when at airport. Any ideas? Gaz
I was thinking of embedding an Airtag into either the spare wheel cap or the spare wheel cover - this would then locate the stolen item - what do you think ?
Hi Gareth i just had an even better idea... why dont you put an airtag inside the spare wheel - pop off the tyre bead and put one inside... let me know what you think. Happy to send you a free airtag as i am feeling sorry for you having your wheel stolen.
Hi, Does your additional reverse/hazard light kit fit with this bumper cover please? It mentions in trh light video it may not fit with extended covers, but it diesnt mention exteneded on any of your covers.
How do I get the silicone off the bumper from the polypropylene product that just fell off the car? You are saying this product is the solution to the one I bought two years ago? I'll communicate by email through the site - it would be great to have sticky tape for the entire cover like you have for the LED light cover version eh?
Hi Robert - sorry for the slow reply - we are happy to send you out a new free of charge replacement - this should mean your do not need to remove the silicone and it will stock better to the ABS type. Please contact us via the website and we will arrange a replacement for you ! Simon
dear sir I really love your videos so interesting if you never mind where online I could Purchase a cover for the rear bumper the one on the video seems made from a different material not Stainless steel.
Evening Simon, I bought the "first edition" PP chequer plate bumper cover a few months ago; should I consider purchasing the new ABS version ? The cover is showing signs of coming unstuck so I will have to take it off and restick soon anyway. The original cover had 3 sticky pads and came with silicon which I used; I see the new one has an additional sticky strip and no silicon was used in the video. If I stay with the original would you recommend using something other than silicon adhesive ?
Simon, out of interest and to see how far JLR’s penny pinching is going can you look in the slot in the 90’s tailgate door and see if they are still supplying the cars with a warning triangle in a red box? I have heard of several cars where the slot is empty………….. also the “hammock” to cover the load space hasn’t been supplied and the dealership is claiming that they are no longer being supplied “due to the chip shortage” which of course is a load if cr*p as neither item has a single chip in them!
Cars from all manufacturers tend not to have the warning triangle supplied in UK as it isn’t a legal requirement here unlike the EU. So, it isn’t just JLR penny pinching, it’s everybody! German cars may give the triangle but tend not to fit full LED headlights as standard to most models unless, you pay extra.
Both my 2020 First Edition 110 and my 2022 L3 Mini Cooper S E here in the U.K. were supplied with boxed warning triangle and the Mini has a basic First Aid Kit as well - both are U.K. spec. Have read on Mini forums that Mini have recently stopped adding both items so I wondered if JLR have too. If the Defender 90 I have on order comes without a triangle I might have to “divert” the one from my 110………..
Hi Tim - I will check but Land Rover really need to add the triangle as the hazard warning lights are not visible on the car with the rear door open - and the instructions are to use the warning triangle so i hope Land Rover do not delete this.... the hammock... my recent 90 did come with the hammock ! ( useless as it is )
Simon, I was wondering about it being rigid vs flexible. Might the rigid start to loosen because of the twisting while off roading? Maybe that is the reason for the more flexible material?
Can I ask what the covers are near the top of the rear pillar please? I've looked back through the videos and on your website, but cannot find anything
If I had a Defender Simon, I would order that from you…but c£91,500 for “mine”means I might have to wait a bit! re the sunglasses holder…I don’t have one but do have the space filled with a shiny black blanking plate. It doesn’t appear to have any function but maybe it is to do with the alarm etc? Good work tonight as always! 😀😀😀😀😀
@@L663 No I think you are right…just a plain blanking piece so I think it must have been the Freelander that had a case…something did and it is not the current cars. 🤔🫢🙂

Yes it fits with our reverse light upgrade

Hello Simon, I didn't understand what changes from the rear bumper cover that was already on sale on your site until now. Thanks 🙂
Nothing really - just the material it is made from.

Hi Bill - Contact customer service and we will send you one of the ABS type to test.

This is interesting as due to the fact the hazards are not visible with the rear door open I think they are obliged to supply the triangle
Theres a boxed triangle in my 2021 model 110

The ABS is still flexible to allow for any body movement.

Hi David - these are the PLUMB rear storage boxes
ruclips.net/video/QufLL9uTib8/видео.html
They are about £1500 a set - should I stock them
@@L663 Thank you sir, a really good looking, well made bit of kit, just not sure I have a use for it though..... which is a shame

Hi Richard - i believe that there wil be nothing behind the sunglass black gloss plastic.... there was nothing behind the panel in my 90 !

Hi Jimmy - are you ready for xmas ?
Only one thing to say, and that's: 👍
Looking good 👍
Thanks 👍
You should run a give away for that 90 and give it to one of your subscribers 😉
Hi Justin - we have considered selling raffle tickets using this platform raffall.com but not sure about the whole gambling thing !
Boom Boom!! 💥
