I just fitted mine, same as this however different supplier who didn’t have a video. It was very hard to get aligned as despite doing trial runs, I then took all the tape off first, pretty good but not perfect. I wish I’d seen this method beforehand. I can’t imagine how many go on crooked without this method.

Small suggestion … could you do a short video on steps required to fit in the open when there’s not an opportunity to use a heated workshop please !!

The only difference we would say is to use a heat gun to heat the promoter to help the bonding process. All other steps should be the same.

Is this just for looks or will it improve my times around the Ring?

Will the adhesive promoter permanently stain the rear panel? When doing any mods to the cars, I like to keep the body of the car in factory condition (no screws, like factory paint) and I'm concerned about permanent stains.

Once that's on it's not coming off.
