For a 9th day, Justice for George Floyd protesters are out in force in Washington, D.C. expecting to see the city's largest demonstration since he was killed on Memorial Day in Minneapolis.

Do not allow the police to be solely responsible for turning themselves in. Get another organization to investigate and lead charges against police for misconduct and corruption.
Nobody trusts a gang to turn a follow gangster in for their crimes. Why should that be any different for the police?
Had these incidents not been filmed, the cops and their colleagues would have lied and they would have gone on as if nothing ever happened.
Blacks also need to learn how to act when they are approached by the police or pulled over. Many times they either run or are hateful to police before the police even tell them why they were pulled over or approached.

What happened to Mr. Floyd was horrible. And, it has happened countless times. But, I hope people realize that this is what our government has done to innocent civilians in the Middle East for decades. We are too violent a society.

@@brendonstephen1246 I'm not aware of any place that pays more for police than education. Also, police don't only get 8 weeks of training. In my small town (200.000) their academy is 13 weeks. After that they have weekly and monthly training, online courses, etc. I know this because our Fire Dept training facility is at the same campus as the police training facility.
And, that's a smaller town. Police (and Fire) get weekly and monthly training and drills.

I live in downtown San Jose. The people in this city talk to the police in horrible ways and criminally spit at them, daily.

Exactly in the rest of the world people struggle to live. That’s why we are considered or at least was considered the land of the great and free. Not gonna lie.. demilitarizing police would not have saved Floyd. Better training and a higher standard for police officers would've. He wasn't killed by a rifle; he got tazed and choked to death.

A man attempted to pay for a item from a Convenient Store. The store owner/employee ASS-Umed the payment was Counterfeit/Fake. The Owner placed a Call, reporting an attempt to commit a Financial exchange without equal exchange.
Two patrol vehicle's approached; Prior to they're arrival, the Store's Owner/Employee had an Opportunity. Once the Patrolmen deployed onto the sidewalk's entering the Store, the Store Owner/Employees were once again given an Opportunity. The patrolmen detaining Mr. Floyd, where I am assured, Mr. Floyd expressed the Store's Owner/Employee's grave Mistaken Fact. Again, during the Handcuffing this same Store Owner/Employee's had An Opportunity.

What happened to covid? Shouldn't all these people be dying off by now? They've stayed packed together for a week now, and this "deadliest pandemic in our lifetime" isnt mentioned hardly at all.
It takes 2 weeks to take effect.
But I'm hoping that since most are young and hopefully keeping masks in with limited contact, that they'll be okay.
I really wish this didn't happen at this time.

Yup not gonna lie.. if we don't see people dropping like flies by the end of the month from covid, I'm gonna be kinda perturbed that I've been quarantining my family for nothing for 3 months now..
@@kaijsadragonborn119 That doesn't make sense and you don't understand why. 1% severity isn't dropping like flies and the people who do drop into severity usually stay that way for weeks before dying or recovering. The problem was overflooding the system. Limited resources without preparation.
We're a little faster now and have way more precautions and methodology on dealing with it now. Still hundreds to a thousand dying a day do that's an issue though. Might bloom again.
Edit: my aunt and ex girlfriend are nurses and have been fighting for months. Really tired of people assuming it's fake because they don't understand what it is.

I've been vigilantly doing everything to prevent the spread, you have no idea..
I had over 400 masks before covid because for years I've worn them during flu seasons or any time I was sick. I barely have any now because I donated them.
I've taken it very seriously despite ridicule, and it has totally disrupted our lives - especially my children.
I get that the protests are for a good cause, but let's be real.. it bothers us all on some level to see these huge crowds as if all of it was in vain.
If it were endemic already from the start with at most a 1% fatality rate at its worst, and everyone was getting it eventually anyway, then I agree with the trumptards - the measures taken were overkill and too long considering the other damages to our lives that they've caused.
These burning looted cities already had higher than average unemployment and were at the breaking point.. it's getting really difficult to think there's no agenda at this point.
I feel like we're being corralled around like cattle. Like this is a simulation test to see whatever stup!d sh!t were willing to do to comply with social experiments. 🤷♀️
But, admittedly, the range of emotions I've had each day since the Great Staycation started are only eclipsed by my weird af dreams as of late so.. idk how I feel anymore really.

The militarization of police may have started under Bush but it didn't slow down one bit under Obama. It may have even excellerated. As a white person I don't like it either. I too experienced bad treatment from police. 12 cop cars showed up at an accident scene I was involved in when a cop driving with his headlights off, pulled in from the side of the road, came across two lanes, ran his old Crown Victoria across front of me in my Toyota Yaris, ripping off the entire front end of my car while I was standing still waiting to make a left turn. This bad cop totalled both of our vehicles so he could use my insurance to get a new police SUV. I saw this cop in his new SUV a couple months later. This was in Phoenix, Az.
Bad, crooked cops with bad, crooked local governments happen to all of us.
That said I do not appreciate the Soros, and Clinton, funded rioters at these protests. And I do not believe that Trump should be blamed in any way at all for what has happened. I believe he wants to help.
