You ask, what do we like? My response: I enjoy everything you share. What I most like and learn from are your vessel operations in real-time without too much editing. For example, route planning, course, anchoring, docking, maint, repairs, problem-solving, tide/wind/weather management, etc. I'd like to learn from your experience and adventure vs. just sightseeing with you. And, I enjoy the sightseeing and your overall story. Rob

Love the long-cruise videos - it reminds me of growing up and waking up on the small trawler we had. I used to love the sound of the diesel rumbling away. It was always a treat to wake up whilst underway. Less so, if you have an early-hours stint at the helm on ‘log-watch’, I’m sure! 😂

It was pretty neat to see what goes on when y'all are on a 30-hour cruise. Shawn's Taco's looked tasty that he made. Shawn seems to be a really good cook. Elizabeth is pretty lucky to snag a fella who likes to cook. 😁 The floating marina was an awesome place to check out. I enjoyed that. Freedom cruised through some nice smooth water....the drone footage of Freedom cruising was pretty awesome. Anyways....a marvelous video.

During my Navy time,we spent 176 days at sea, in the middle of the south China Sea, the amazing thing is when we got 300 miles from the Philippine islands. We could smell them nothing bad it smells like soil because at sea there is no odors just sea air. Just for laughs. We all had a hard time walking on solid ground we kept feeling like we were wobbling.

For those wooden beam tie ups, a clove hitch works great as long as the dock line isn't too long. We stayed at Sullivan Bay one night last summer on the way to Alaska. It was nice, and I understand it's remote for supplies, but holy s**t was it expensive! Underway, we listen to audio books from the library downloaded when internet is available. We become so engrossed in the stories, the hours pass really quickly and we forget to eat or exercise.

I haven't been in Sullivan Bay for 25 years or so, it was a great spot then but without many of the amenities you enjoyed. One of our first overnight passages was from Sullivan Bay to Haidi Gai, then known as the Queen Charlotte Islands. We spent ten days or so circumnavigating the southern island before continuing our circumnavigation of Vancouver Island.

Yes, in yachting life, there are also times when you’re "just" cruising from point A to B and there’s not much going on (you think). So, thank you for sharing with us the real life on board and not just Instagram style pictures of your journey. See U in your next video!

I want to thank you for all the videos, your information is always well researched, especially the trip up Indian Arm...my childhood, 60 years ago, was spent water skiing there. I have been living on my granparents property in Gibsons ( very near where you encountered all the driftwood.) Your assesment was honest, the marinas do not create a great first impression. I went to Malibu Camp numerous times, OMG what were my parents trying to do to me. Thank you for the flood of memories and your really first rate filming. My parents took us , what seemed like, every summer to the north end of Vancouver Island, I can not thank you enough for the effort you have put into this channel. e-star

And yes, we do want to know what happens on the cruising part of the cruises. Maybe even a peak at a quik look at the engine checks while underway, or any equipment checks. the boating part of the trip.
Another question, for long legs, do you sometimes make meals ahead, and put them in fridge for quick microwave, if needed, while underway? Oh, well, guess that's more for Shawn, since you mentioned you typically don't eat while underway
