The timing on mecha robotnik is insane as you said, and you have to hit him so many times. You should go back and beat it some time, it’ll be very satisfying

The thing I dislike about the Chemical plant Zone fight is the chance of falling in the chemicals after defeating Robotnik because of those spinning platforms. The fact that you can die and get a game over after defeating Robotnik is the worst part.

Every time i played sonic 2 i would never make it, even as tails i would drown in the act 2 of chemichal plant when a vertical tunnel started to flood, in the end id rage quit and desinstall the game and i never saw the death egg robot in person, ¿did anything similar happen to you while playing sonic 2?
