There should be a “Suicide Mode” where it takes 3 times more hits and Eggman is much faster. And he also has invincible sections so when he first comes in so you can’t just beat him right away.

Yeah, and a mode where you everytime you jump the game switches, or that you have to take damage everytime you jump.
Tips for some of the bosses:
It's possible to get on top off the totem poles in the Aquatic Ruin boss fight (Boss #4). The only thing you need to watch out for is Robotnik's hammer, and it's easy to dodge.
In the Casino Night Zone boss fight (Boss #6), you can damage him easily by spin-dashing up the wall and jumping off of it to hit him.
You can get some hits in on Mecha Sonic, aka Silver Sonic (Boss #16) by spin-dashing where he will land at the beginning of the battle. Be sure to release the spindash before he curls up into a ball.
Other than that, for someone who didn't use the spindash the entire level, that was a pretty impressive run!

The faster way to beat the Robotnik fight with the arrows you need to get on top of the pillars so you can just jump and hit him alot easier and do not have to wait for the arrows.
Also, if you do a full spin dash off the top of a pillar, you’ll bounce back onto it after you hit Robotnik.

Then When He Does Hands Attack Dodge Then Jump On Him Again. Repeat The Cycle And You Can Win With Ease

I've seen this hack before , this commentary makes it much better! Boss I'd pick would probably be the Final Robotnik Battle or The Final Zone from Sonic 1. Nice work Darby looking forward to the next video. I've been watching them from my TV but ALWAYS HIT LIKE to support!

Cool, its always epic to see an Sonic hack. Its a shame Sonic doesnt get the same love as Mario because its just as fun to play as Mario, I guess Mario has more adventure with the levers. This was fun, it was great to see all the boss fights lke that.Thank you.

Kinda nice that you can do the last Sonic 2 fights with rings. It's such a pain to not have a single ring the first time you fight them.
Not to mention that you can also outright SKIP the Mecha Sonic boss if you die during boss 17

2:12 You can actually get on top of the pillars and just wail on him. The hammer doesn't have a hitbox unless it's swinging.

This was actually added in to sonic origins and is cool to see the sonic team paying attention to these
1:43 here is a trick: when the bird statues come up you stand on one of them and hit robotnik as much as you want remember to bounce back on the statue after a hit

Imagine if this had more bosses from Sonic CD, from Sonic Mania and from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. And to complete Death Egg Zone you have to hit Silver Metal Sonic 8 Times and Hit The Death Egg Robot Boss 12 Times (I can’t believe I counted the Final Boss hits but I did).

(1:55, 2:12) You can jump up onto the pillars (except from the lowest height arrow) and then you can score hits more quickly that way. Just make sure you're not on a pillar as Robotnik hammers it. EDIT: Seems many have mentioned this already.
(11:02) At least you get rings for this fight. It's nice that this hack provides rings for those final battles that you'd normally not have rings for.

You can go on the pillars in Boss 4: Aquatic Ruin Zone. From the top of the pillars, you can spindash into the Egg Mobile!

for the arrows and pillars boss you should be able to jump on top of the pillars from an arrow, and keep hitting robotnik from there, without needing to wait for another arrow.
For Mecha Sonic, you wanna be in spin dash, but stay put for three hits, then dash away as he balls up as you dash away, rinse and repeat.
I got 4 at the start, then dashed out of his way. Then jumped on him on the other side of the arena to land the final 4.
for the metropolis zone you can wait in the corner and then robotnik will stop for a second where you can score a hit.

The Aqua Ruin boss, try using a high arrow to get atop of the bird totems. Can't speak for everyone but it's a good way to get some clean overhead jumps and might get you some combos. ;)

2:18 if arrow appears and it sticks in the totems go on the arrow and then go to the top. Then jump to attack eggman
Here is a tip for the hammer Boss -
Go to the Arrow as fast as possible
Keep on Hitting eggman Until He goes to the next pillar
Repeat the process till' he dies

The mistic cave zone boss can be beaten quickly by spin dashing under him while he descends. Same with the silver sonic. My time as tails is 12:24:13 rank b
The final sonic 2 fight tip to make it more quick: *you should fight in the back it ALWAYS worked for me*

Sonic 3 is actully harder than these bosses like hyper sonic chasing the robot down but collecting rings and also I wonder if you be knuckles or not for mecha sonic or you can just choose your charecter and each charecter has different bosses

While the pillars are rising jump on one and stay on it. You can jump at the perfect time to avoid being hit by the hammer (for some reason it damages you) and attack him
I died so many times on Boss 6 (In the original game) I legit almost thought I was never gonna beat it!

Considering Tails, you get an option to play as him instead of Sonic if you wish.
i just revisited this and remembered how good this vid is.
To beat the arrow you have to STOP STANDING ON THE TIP.
If you stand away from the tip but still on the arrow, the arrow will stay up until theres a new arrow on that same pillar.

I imagine tails is at scrap brain zone trying to find eggman, while sonic is fighting eggman at the death egg

When the pillars come up you can jump on them, and then enjoy getting a fast kill on Eggman/Robotnik!❤❤❤
to improve the Aquatic Ruin Zone boss, when the boss starts, jump to the right side of the screen onto the totem and you can hit him quicker that way. 1:40

In the aquatic ruin u may get on top of the pillars before going to hit eggman u must stay on the pillars on top and u may hit him many times (i also did that in my sonic 2 save file)
There's a Super easy way to kill flying bosses, first you have to use tails for a flying boss now fly below the boss. Now fly under the boss and then ram him while flying. ENJOY!
a little trick with the final Robotnik Robot, don't know if it'll work with this hack, but try to stay behind it, that way you don't have to worry about the arms. attack him from the back just watch out for the flame on his rocket. When he jumps off screen run all the way left or right and duck, when he land, he'll miss you and be facing away from you. hope this helps.
If I made Sonic there would be an" are you sure mode"the rules are you have to hit every boss 30 times before you defeat it and you only have 50 minutes to defeat every single boss from Sonic 1 and 2 also you have one ring and one life which means if you lose your ring and die you have to do the entire thing again but there is a checkpoint in the middle the catch is that there are fake checkpoints which are scattered around the play area and if you touch any of the fake checkpoints you die the end.
In 2:15 you can get on top of the pillars and hit him continuously
9:35 here is a cool little tip for that boss if spin dash is on when the purple energy balls show start spin dashing when the energy balls start coming to you release the spin dash and that will help you avoid them
You can jump on the arrows and jump on the top of the poem and keep on hitting Eggman while dodging his hammer
