Yes, it's so funny how Eggman saves Sonic, well I guess the lava wasn't made by him, lol. Yeah, maybe he wants to knock out sonic but not actually kill him, like the lava kills him, but he doesn't know that Sonic can respawn. Actually nah, he probably just accidentally saved Sonic, like maybe he was unaware that Sonic was there. That was an interesting fight, where robotnik tried to shoot the boulders at you, and you dodged them and it hit the octopus-bot thing, and when the octopos bot was on it's last hit, Doctor Robotnik (with the floopy moustache of course) charged at you himself. And I saw that when you jumped to hit him, you actually took damage, and he died from hitting the octopus. Yeah, when he charged at you and missed (well technically he hit you but you survived), he crashed into the octopus which is also against you, and then the octopus took his last hit but so did he, and they both died, haha, a villain accidentally crashing into his teammate and they both die, best of both worlds! And yes, I am also confused about the dropping of the emeralds too. Anyway, this was a nice sonic hack with cutscenes and that to watch on a Friday evening, and you are sch an awesome person as I have said before. I love the Sonic 1UP sound too, haha, point me all ar0ound time boom boom boom boom. And I must say that I loved at 8:54 when you said "Do we want to go through the cloud I guess?" Haha, this were grammar good muchly, ever not heared grammar goodder this than. 🤭
If this game was a continuation of the Sonic 2 Rom Hack where Tails tries to blow up Sonic, I think this might be Eggman’s punishment for Tails. It’s a dumb move for Eggman to let Sonic know about the kidnapping too.

i know you mainly do the old-school Sonic and Mario games, but one thing i think you would love is Sonic Adventure 2 from Steam, but with the Randomizer mod. the outcomes can be extremely hilarious. but it's just a suggestion

On the Game Gear version, he drops the balls which bounce at random heights and speeds, but in the Master System version they always bounce low and slow. Since it used the random heights/speeds, I have reason to believe it's the Game Gear version. Also, I don't think the seal boss "broke" that first time, if I remember right, you're supposed to jump on top of it when it holds its nose up like that, then it bounces you like a ball on its nose for a seconds, then launches you to the other side of the screen (without hurting you). So far, seems like a pretty good re-creation of Sonic 2 (Game Gear)!

This may be good but I like the version where you got the master emerald and have 4 teams of 2 characters better. The green hill zone was renamed time hill zone in that remake.
I think for Sky High Zone they should’ve used Hilltop Zones graphics and for Green Hills Zone, Green Hill Zone graphics. Although the graphics look fine.
