I remember the first time I unlocked super sonic in Sonic 2 and I didn't even know the transformation existed. I was so confused but excited. This was before I had the internet so I couldn't ask anyone what the hell had just happened. That was a magical moment in my gaming history. The music that came with it was epic.
This once happend to me in Minecraft, one Day i accidentally created an iron golem and i was shocked cuz i Never knew it existed.

Super Sonic really is the product of Sonic’s need to act. Sonic is usually happy go lucky, without even a single worry. But when he needs to really get serious, and end a problem right there, he must rely on his golden form, brimming with chaotic power and drive to do what must be done. It’s the opposite of sonic. Instead of a quippy and cocky guy that loves to prolong a fight and have fun, Super Sonic is silent, has a serious stare, and uses all his power to create change.

It is kind of like Dragonball, when Goku turns SSB he becomes very serious cus he knows if he messes up, he will be putting alot if people at danger
Speaking of seriousness, another thing I like about it is that in Sonic 2 when you usually go on the edge of a platform as regular sonic, his arms are flailing and his face is super obnoxious looking. But when you're on the edge while super sonic, he just keeps his arms crossed, tip toes over the edge and straight serious faced.
In Adventure it was vital as Sonic was strong, but had limitations. The golden form was needed just to take out something big, but Sonic has gotten stronger over the past 30 years that he could take on Perfect Chaos with his newly found power that creates a burst of energy to boost him at high speeds or give his ball form a powerful sharp edge. Sonic is a strong character that hardly needs the emeralds anymore, if he finds he does need all seven again, then Sonic will have to take on truly the most powerful threat yet.

I love how sonic shuffle has Super Sonic as a separate entity from Sonic. Reminds me of Adventure, when his friends didnt refer to him as "Sonic", but as "Super Sonic", which makes me believe that Super is a separate person

Adventure 1 &2, 06, and Unleashed had such epic fate-of-the-world type of final boss that just made turning into Super Sonic much more epic and the newer games just completely lack it.

You can’t have world ending stakes if you don’t show that the characters care lol, if you don’t build up the final fight as something epic and triumphant then your villain isn’t going to leave an impact, and that’s why the endings of sonic generations and sonic forces are lacklustre.

I remember playing Sonic 2 when I was a kid way back in 92, I was 7 years old. After getting all the Chaos Emeralds and getting 50 rings and turning into Super Sonic was unbelievable. Me and my sister were so surprised being that we had NO idea Super Sonic was a thing. It was an awesome surprise and I still remember the goosebumps I got till this day. Good times.
Later I learned the Any Level, debug and Super Sonic codes from kids on the playground at school. From then on I would always just do the codes and turn into Super Sonic on the first stage lol

Almost everything from Modern Sonic's main games was used in that story, there are so many things they could've messed up, but thankfully... they only messed one thing, but hey! They even managed to make the Deadly Six interesting!

Nah to be fr sonic generations had one or some of the best super sonic gameplays out of all sonic games because of how you can actually gain height and move around in the air while your boosting it just feels so much better

Most likely not, since the whole reason sega decided to ban hyper sonic from any future games was because his fur flashes multi-colored when he uses the form, so sega figured that some players would be at risk of having seisures
@@Hazel_TheOne they could make him just plain white, it’s the colour that I see the most when he flashes so, just a plain white but if you have to have the other colours you could have it that the aura that’s around the super form in the movies for the hyper form, have that change colours but shift in the rainbow like the bottom is one colour the top is the other and it shifts to prevent it, I think that could work
I would like to see Sonic The Hedgehog's first transformation into Super Sonic from the 7 chaos emeralds for next live action Sonic film and Tails too if it happens.
Lanre Akerele I hope it doesn't do super sonic stuff liek the movie solid 6/10. Took itself abit to serloisly with its moral at the end but the other stuff was fine a bit to much trying to be detective pikachu some times when it should have tried to be a fully comedic film with less if the Half backed dumb moral i do think it was enjoyable just ntosomthing I'd like to wacth Over and overlike detective pikachu I made a review for it which did reference detective pikachu a bunch but that's becuase it clearly is trying to be detective pikachu but just doesn't pull it off detective pikachu had so much more work and heart in it I feel the ,Ovid was fun but the moral was half assed and the two fake deaths where lame I mena the last one that was fine but the first one was lame the second one was besicly amdatory. Lanre Akerele needs to wait till at least the 3rd movie. Hopefully metal sonic is in the next one. If they do super sonic early it will pretty much guarantee there wont be a need for a 3rd movie.
@@killerkirby366 it was better than what I expected but definitely not "the best gaming movie" as some have been saying, and ye, I doubt that the form we saw in the movie is super sonic, that was more like some sort of rage form, and we know emeralds exist within its canon, so here is hoping they do a nice job with the sequels
