- Ok,
I noticed this video was my most viewed so I thought I best revisit it. My daughter suggested that people were probably watching two or three times to try and figure out what I was doing, and now that I sussed my narrator method she suggested I attempt a revisit to explain the methodology used.
Hopefully this clears up any confusion
Let me know what you think in the comments
Worked a treat on a lock my friend gave me for free, he got it at an auction in a box of stuff, it’ll still keep the opertunists out of my garden 😊
Glad it worked out great for you buddy 👍
Stay safe and thanks for Watching 👍🥳
I just baught one of these locks and messed up when setting my new code and couldn't open it.. you have just saved me big time 👍
Glad I helped buddy 👍 Have a great week 🤘😎
First time I’ve watched one of your videos. Really clear and helpful. I’ve now busted this one, having previously felt shame because I couldn’t break into a Master!
Glad I could be of help buddy 👍 Hope you have a good one and stay safe buddy 🤘😎
Did not know you had done a video. I just purchased a new one of flea market for Six pound. Ten minutes later I was in/open only purchased because cheap and recently seen lock noob .same method but yours includes resetting the lock so so I have learnt something from both of you. Thanks for posting/sharring
More than welcome buddy 👍 Glad I helped out 👍
Stay safe and have a great week buddy 👍 😎
Thank you for bringing this method to my attention. I'm now able to decode my Master Lock Excell.
Awesome 👌 Glad it helped buddy 👍
Stay safe and have a great weekend buddy 😎 🤘
First time I have seen this method used, but I have read about it. Great video!
Cheer for the kind words buddy 👍 Hope you have a great week 🤘
Great job decoding!! I never thought about doing it that way!!
Thanks buddy that's what I'm talking about right too the point. PERFECT!!!
Robbie from Huyton Liverpool UK
Glad you liked it buddy 👍 Hope you have a great week 🤘
Good job decoding. I think I would prefer you talking as your working.
Feels more personable that way. But it is your channel. 👍👍👍👍🧡
I understand that, but my accent is an absolute nightmare to dissect. Plus I have a vocabulary that would make a sailor blush.....
One bonus of doing the voice this way is the captions auto generated by RUclips actually make sense 😎
Works! Thank you❤
More than welcome 👍 Glad to have helped 😀
it worked!
Ideal 👍 Glad it worked out buddy 👍 😀
Very cool I've never seen this method before. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the video
No problems - have a great week trying it out buddy 👍
Again that's another fast one my friend, well done.
Cheers buddy 👍
Great job my friend.
Cheers buddy 👍 Hope you have a great week 🤘
I’m in two minds here... thanks for letting me get back into my shed after initially setting the wrong code up the first time to something I didn’t know..... but also thanks for showing my local burglars how to get into my shed too :/
I'm glad it worked for you buddy 👍
Burglars would just undo the door hinge though.
Stay safe and have a great weekend buddy 😎🤘
@@CoxysPicks not when the hinges are internal 😂
Great work decoding 😊
Thanks very much for the kind words buddy 👍 Hope you have a great week 🤘
If the lock is attached on gate or chain already itll be a different story. And still isuch better rather than other padlock there thay can be picked and wrench thou
I understand what you are saying, but.in locksport, you never pick a lock in use.
Thanks for Watching, and why not try some of my newer videos? I am currently running a crap lock series that might interest you.
Have a great week buddy 🥳 🤘
@@CoxysPicks will do. Thanks bro
Amazing!
Thanks buddy 👍 Stay safe and have a great weekend 😎🤘
Let me know what you guys think about the added commentary.
- EDIT -
I have noticed the commentary is a little loud. Every day is a school day right?
Next video I should have a better audio balance. Apologies to all headphone users.
Hey good Job. But it dont work with mine. Can u make a vid with this model: BURG WÄCHTER Vorhängeschloss Circle 23 ?
Hiya,
I don't have that particular lock in my collection. If I did I would definitely show it off.
Thanks for Watching. Stay safe and have a great weekend buddy 😎 🤘
Hey man, recently got handed a master lock, disk style, combination lock, looks exactly like the one in this vid. On the back it has 0218BD, I cant seem to get this method to work. Any ideas?
Hiya, how much tension are you applying to the little slide lever? You do have to apply a large amount to get the wheels to start sequence binding.
@@CoxysPicks I was pushing as hard as I could, I ended up making a small decoder tool and finding the combination that way :D
My model number is 0919BD, and it has protection to stop decoding via the blade methods. Yours must be an earlier iteration of this lock. Interesting to know that they actually do change the design as flaws are discovered.....
@@CoxysPicks tbf the Mark's were hard to get with a tool, bet with it being not locked on anything i could position it and the wheels so i could see the faint notches outlines
These wheels on mine are well shrouded - nothing is visible. Still, more than one way to skin a cat 👍
I have another method to open this lock. I think it is a lot quicker
Can you make a video and share?
You don’t even need a screwdriver. Sheesh.
Ideals 👍 I use a screwdriver to help on this generation of the lock. Maybe they have changed the design to make it cheaper to manufacture?
Glad you can get it to work on yours though 👍
Stay safe and thanks for Watching 🥳🍻
The second digit didn’t give u much info.. was it notion the hand
I'm not sure what you mean.
If the dial is loose whilst applying tension then the previous dial is in the wrong number. The difference between stiff and loose is the same as night and day. It's very obvious.
Hope that helps.
@@CoxysPicks sorry I probably didn’t elaborate properly. What I meant was when you was decoding the lock you was spinning the third dial, but even when second dial got to 0, and you fiddled the third dial it seemed relatively loose still was it hard to tell when the third dial went stiff or relatively easy. Sorry if I didn’t elaborate
When the third wheel (or any of the wheels) go stiff it's very obvious. If you struggle to determine the difference you can increase the tension applied at the top of the lock via the open slider. The more force applied to the open switch, the greater the tension exerted across the mech.
There is a fine line between tension and breaking though. So add the tension until you can tell the difference, then start hunting.
Experiment with a known combination first to get the balance right and be confident in your perception of stiff and loose 👍
@@CoxysPicks thank u . Perfectly explained
More than welcome buddy 👍 Stay safe and have a great Easter weekend 😀 👍
You better take a lot less time than that if you're trying to jack me
I'm sorry, what?
This is just a method for decoding a padlock.
If I wanted to be quick and "jack" you, I would use bolt cutters.
@@CoxysPicks you better be fast with them bolt cutters
I do think you have me confused with someone else.
I'm a lockpicker and Escapologist.
If you are concerned someone is going to "jack" you, then don't use a masterlock. I would suggest something like an Abloy 362 would be a great lock for securing your bike with a nice meaty chain.
HELP! all the dials have the same level of stiffness everytime i try to turn it with a screwdriver.
What is the model number on the rear? A previous comment mentioned that this attack didn't work on theirs, but they were able to probe the gates using a decode tool.
The digits are 4511BD
Can you get anything to Bind? I proper swing off the lever to apply tension. In this situation more is best....
Ok i'll try
Yow when you said "get anything to bind" what did you mean?
