a singer's singer...and a legend in his own time. Look around, and all the cats, minus a very few that came to prominence before or during Al's "reign", are gone...long gone. The Barry Whites, the Bobby Womacks, the Marvin Gayes, Isaac Hayes, Johnnie Taylor, Bobby Bland, BB King, all of the Isley Brothers, except Ron and Ernie, etc...saying all that to say, Al Green not only figured out how to ALWAYS remain relevant, but NO ONE has come along to make you forget about him. He is TRULY one of the "kings of soul music'. An all time great.

The Honourable Rev kept it short. Unlike modern day "see me" fools.
