- I recently went to Cleveland to visit my niece and decided to tour the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Here is a video of my entire experience. Featured are the artifacts of music history that you'll see if you visit. As far as getting upset with who has or hasn't been inducted, I've stop concerning myself with that decades ago. Is it BS that many rock & roll bands aren't in yet? Sure, but this is obviously their business model and repeatedly getting upset about it year after year after year is an exercise in futility. I don't care, and haven't cared, about the induction ceremony or the awards, I'm just here to see the memorabilia.
Thank you, Robert! This was way cool. I just listened to Bjork's Post this morning, cool to see the display with the album cover outfit. And I didn't know I needed a "Work-Free Drug Place" sticker for my chill cave until now! I'm also one of the nutbars that like the Stones Satanic Majesties album, so the Mellotron walk around was much appreciated as well. Thanks again!
I need one of those, too.
Haven't been since 2016 & look forward to seeing all the recent inductees like The Cure , Kate Bush , Todd Rundgren , Roxy Music & Kraftwerk & Depeche Mode to name a few. Awesome 👌 tour ! Thanks 😎
I've noticed that not all inductees have memorabilia and some of those who have memorabilia aren't inductees.
Thank you for sharing way cool , I agree with you about the who is in the Rock& Roll hall of fame it's all about the music and history.
Very cool! Thanks Robert excellent tour.
Thanks!!
Great video. I have been there and lucky for me when I went the featured artist that took up a whole floor was Bowie! Cheers
Damn! I got Bon Jovi.

thanks for the free tour.I was in Akron and was gonna go it,but it was closed.Cant remember if it was fri or sat night?
In the midwest section I spotted a poster from The Roof Garden in Arnolds Park Iowa. That happens to be where I saw The Yardbirds with Jeff Beck on guitar and Jimmy Page on bass. 1966 I think. Thanks Robert. Now I don't feel like I gotta go there.
I saw Janis’s psychedelic Porsche there a gazillion years ago. ❤ The Rock Hall archives are a few miles across town. Would love to get inside there!
Welcome to Cleveland. I'm from nearby madison ohio. Busy downtown today with guardians playoff game and browns game tomorrow.
Thanks for the tour and you did a great job of it.
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Great video!! Thank you for posting this. Loved it.
Thank you!
@@RobertFithen welcome
The only things I teally remember from when I was there 20ish years ago are how totally tiny Jimi's vest was, that Lemmy's Iron Cross bass is weirdly intimidating even all by itself... & that the broken guitar Curtis Mayfield's was playing when the (also displayed) lighting rig fell on him is fucking heartbreaking.
😭
14:23: That promo jacket was from a Buffalo NY radio station, "brought to you Harvey & Corkey Productions," Harvey being the now-infamous Harvey Weinstein, who attended college and got his start in the entertainment business here. I wasn't a fan of the Stones and didn't attend the show, which was held in what is now called Highmark Stadium -- but pretty much everyone else in Buffalo did, that show was huge. And it was immortalized with long-standing graffiti on a railroad bridge that spanned the main route to the stadium. "ROLLING STONES '78!"
Cool information 👍
I didn't know the Weinstein connection. Thanks for the info.
First . Great video Robert
This was an awesome tour. Thanks!
Great tour! Malissa Etheridge is originally from Kansas, BTW.
You're right.
Did you know that Otis Reddings' final performance was on a tv show out of Cleveland called upbeat? It was hosted by a guy named Don Webster whom I remember being the weatherman on channel 5 wews cleveland. The night of that performance they flew to Wisconsin and his plane went down. Alot of coverage from that appearance you still see today of otis redding. Upbeat was sort of like dick Clark's show. It was a pretty big platform for artists at that time.
I had no idea Mojo Nixon was in the R&R Hall of Fame. I guess the R&R Hall of Fame don't need no fixin.
Welcome to Cleveland !!
Thanks!
👍
21:56 - exactly. WTF?!?
Thanks for the trip. And no Bung Jovi.
There was just no time. Lol
American choppers built motorcycles for Billy Joel.
Nothing from The Beach Boys?😊
Now that you mention it, I don't remember seeing anything from The Beach Boys. After I left, I realized I hadn't seen anything relating to Kiss or David Bowie.
You wanna see some jimi hendrix stuff go to seattle.
I've never been there. I need to go.
