I'm glad that someone else finally agrees with me that forcing the headmaster gimmick into every single figure in the Titans Return toyline completely ruined most figures
I've never been the biggest fan of Galvatron's alt mode. I think he looks really cool in robot mode, but I always found the canon mode was a little too randomly shaped.
Definitely one of the best-looking mainline Galvatron figures. The neutral face doesn't bother me. The one thing I disliked about the old BW figures was the snarling faces. Anyways, I can't wait for this figure to release in the online shops.
I am incredibly impressed with the way this figure turned out. Hasbro definitely knocked it out of the park with what seems to be their best version of Galvatron yet. So glad I skipped the TR version, because this is worth it.
Cannot wait for this guy. Hoping to nab him before the September release. I'm cool with smaller, more complex Leaders. Better than the larger but simple and hollow figures we've gotten in the past. The last few years have been so great that I've stopped buying MP figures. This suits my needs and for the cost this will work a lot better than any potential MP that would probably push the $300-$400 price point.
I will most likely spray paint the revenge purple, and use a gundam marker to make those panel lines pop! Loved the review! Im glad you addressed the promblem with the treads though for me it’s definitely not a dealbreaker as I missed out on the titans return galvatron. Honestly revealed means released on this channel lol but im grateful for that as it lets me know what to get before it even comes out so.... Thanks! Oh also unicron thought of everything, galvatron has a built in tri-pod stand!
Well the heel spurs help the figure to stand with more stability in the static position. But I agree that it can stand decently without it. Nice review.

"But, Leaders used to be so much bigger and..." "i am.. paying... IT." Nothing's perfect in life and the only imperfections I see here are the sort that only make you love 'em more on balance.
The scale is weird for sure, but but probably had to be done considering how Rodimus Prime in G1 is seen frequently standing at eye-level with Ultra Magnus, despite also being shown as at eye level with Galvatron, who's shown as shorter than Magnus when paired against him. This brief return to he old standard voyager height is an odd, but welcome one.

Excellent excellent review! My second favorite character in the franchise finally gets an official figure worthy of his lineage! This is the best G1 GALVATRON figure Hasbro has ever made. The only negative is the battle damage,but at least it is nowhere as bad as SIEGE Soundwave/Seekers. It's going to be a long 5 months.

I'm kinda hoping when the WFC series is done, Hasbro and Takara will go back to some other series they've done, like the first Robots in Disguise series, or especially Armada and the Unicron trilogy (which I grew up with).
We need more prime, I know that they have the red designs, but those are few and far between. Plus, we haven’t gotten a transforming prime character in so long. (I was referring to the show btw)
I don’t really like the colors on this figure. I just think they look nothing like how Galvatron looked in the movie and cartoon. The cannon mode is a little awkward in the back but overall it still looks cool.

I preordered him and BW Scorponok from BBTS. I in love with this figure. I was so disappointed with the titans return one. I still have it but that head gimmick is awful i still hate it to this day. I can't wait to have this guy in my hands. Awesome review my dude. Keep it up
When you put the movie clip of Galvatron it points out how off his color it. It's suppose to be more blue/purple not grape purple and that battle damage looks like he was a too sloppy eating a blue berry pie. I'll get it but hold onto my receipt if a better more color accurate version comes like I did when the Netflix Megatron came out and blue away the regular release.
The listings for Transformers kingdom do say there won’t be any core class or leader figures in the final wave of kingdom (wave 4) but then people are saying there will be no kingdom wave 4 instead we will get a golden disk sub line (which will probably be exclusives or something of that sort) so I don’t know what to believe right now until we get more information about it from Hasbro
I don't know if you've actually seen it or not but the shoulder assembly on kingdom Galvatron is actually misassembled , the sculpt on the top of the shoulder joint is on backwards and meant to have the smoother part facing upward in the configuration that makes the shoulders a bit taller. sorry in advance if this has already been commented and i'm just repeating something you've already seen.
Would have preferred those 'revenge' blasters in purple but otherwise a really fabulous figure. Looks great with his boys 'Scrouge' & 'Cyclonus'. Galvatron has never looked so good. :)

They actually did fix the shoulders recently. My order just arrived today and the shoulders are great. Highly recommend getting this figure and trashing the TR figure
You can actually safely clean off the battle damage with 91% alcohol and a soft cloth. Patriot Prime Reviews channel has a video up on it for anyone interested in doing it, his turned out awesome without the battle damage!

He's too "purple", prefer a dark shade of a bluish purple color and no battle damage paint apps, otherwise, best Galvie hands down by far!

That’s fair, it does take a good bit of disassembly. Bit sad to see a qc issue that bad made it out into a major release
It's not just a shoulder alignment issue.. the treads tab securely into the back of the shoulder when correctly assembled
