    Okay....I am excited to freeze my corn next summer. Husking, cutting off the cob, blanching then freezing 🥴 too much work. But this is going to be one of my favorite tips yet. Thanks Mike

    187 us definitely fully cooked.
    What temperature us cooked enough?

    • @KitchenTipsOnline
      @KitchenTipsOnline  2 месяца назад

      As far as I'm concerned whatever temperature will melt butter. When I was a kid we used to pull corn off the stalk and eat it right there in the cornfield raw. Mike 🧔

  • @LenaReeves

    You said to cut off the silk ends before freezing. Then you showed the corn being put into the microwave with the silks attached. Which is it?

    • @KitchenTipsOnline
      @KitchenTipsOnline  Год назад +5

      You are correct in what you are saying. The difference is the corn I demonstrated cooking in the video was not frozen. If you don't cut the silk off when you put the corn in the freezer, when the little silk things freeze they tend to break off and make a mess. Mike
