    Thank you for sharing. I will try this. Sometimes I spread mayo on it and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. That's how the Mexican street corn venders here in Cali serve it. Can add some paprika too. It's delicious.

    This is awesome. I will try it tonight. I just picked up some corn from our local market. Thanks for telling me the wattage of your microwave and the time adjustments for more than one ear. I appreciate it.

      Oh my gosh....we are eating dinner now. It worked awesome and the corn is delicious. I always have to shuck the corn and it is a messy, time consuming process. Now I never have to shuck corn again. You are awesome!!! Thank you so much!

    Thats a great way to do it. Im wondering if you could boil it in the husk like that and then shuck it the same way?

    Easiest way to get silk off corn

  • @deanronson6331
    @deanronson6331 Год назад +2

    Instead of butter, I put some yogurt, ramen noodles spice mix, and red paprika on a plate and twirl the corn in that mixture. The taste and colors are great.

    Hey Mr Gary, we tried your corn in the microwave, and it came out perfect, it was easy to get out and there was no silk on it. This will be the only way we will cook it from now on. Thanks for the great tip.

      I’m about to give it a go. I’ve seen this recently on a few channels. I guess dialing in the time is what takes a little practice but once you get synced up your off to the races. Thanks

    For 2023, has anyone tried doing this method in an airfryer? If so, how long and what temp? I'm afraid to try it and catch husk on fire!

      That looks like an absolutely wonderful way to cook corn on the cob. It's August and all our home grown corn is in the freezer, either creamed or on the cobb. We grow candy corn for personal use, and share if we have extra. Everyone wants to know what kind of corn. It's sweet and juicy. There's just one little problem, if you grow your own, you spray for insects. Every now and then an ear will have a little green visitor that the insecticide didn't kill. Of course you don't eat right away after spraying. Safety is always the best policy.... so you wait several days, but I love your way if it's out of the grocery store. Bless you and thanks .
