right? I'd rather take home less money than I previously did in a sales job (like my life now), and be able to stay home and have more freedom and work by myself/for myself. if I was all about money id get back in sales where I work for another company, im profiting more and paying less in taxes

If your main drive in life is to simply get more money…then there is always more to be gotten. You may never be satisfied. I don’t have all the money in the world, but I have a family that loves me, I teach middle school kids art, and I continue to work on bettering myself. I am happy.

"If it's not for you don't join it" Under normal circumstances that is a sentiment I agree with. The problem with you saying about a mlm is, those are not normal circumstances. In order for you to make money, other people have to lose it. It's the lies that are told to get someone to sign up. We have no vested interest, therefore we have no reason to lie. Simple as that.

She literally thinks that anti-MLM content is just your everyday trash-talking - as if sharing true stories about people getting scammed by MLMs is no different than bullying someone who's just trying to make an honest living. She completely ignores the fact that people's lives have been ruined by every MLM company out there & that talking about those stories is not even about hurting the MLM or the people in it. The purpose is actually to help the would-be recruit avoid self-destruction.

You know, I’m in library school right now. I was so excited to be accepted and start. None of my friends came with me to school. Some of them questioned my sanity, lol, but not a single one of them told me not to do it, it’s a scam, they’re worried about me, I’m going to regret it, it’s a terrible idea, or any of it. If all of your friends are telling you something is a bad idea? Maybe….just maybe….it is.

I don't take the anti-mlm content as saving someone, I take it as informing people, especially since these people habitually lie about their MLM's. There's nothing wrong with knowledge and making decisions from knowledge.
This stuff really saves people too. Because in 2018 this content wasn't there and the MLM recruitment was WILD. Now a quick Google search brings this amazing stuff up, much needed.

I've been messaging an arbonne lady on Instagram pretending I don't know much about network marketing/am skeptical and seeing what she'd say to my objections. But I feel bad because at the end of the day she's been brainwashed into it. It's truly sad when you actually interact with people in these companies and they're so hell bent on it being the most amazing thing that ever happened to them.

I'm subscribed to multiple anti-MLM creators of all kinds of personalities and no one has been as bashing or vile as this woman.
That tends to be a trend within these MLMs. They're so dead set on seeing criticism of any kind as hate, and their reaction to the "hate" is so much more mean-spirited and insulting than anything the person critiquing them ever said! It's wild!
I feel she is missing the whole point! People are getting hurt in these companies. They’re getting their money stolen they’re having emotional breakdowns, depression anxiety, etc. they learned them in very slowly promised them the world and when they aren’t doing enough they blame them that’s despicable!

1. If you have a friend that is in an abusive relationship you aren’t going to give up on them. 2. If their company was creating an amazing product that is going to highly benefit the general public, why not work on just selling the product? There is a huge As Seen on TV market and even stores. 3. You want to have independent sellers working for your company… focus on the product. Eliminate recruiting all together. Do what traditional companies do and offer a bonus if you recommend someone and they stay on for a few months. MLM is very delusional.
