He will replace Watson in Cleveland
Hell nah bro a manning with decent speed is crazy
Peyton ran like a 4.6, 4.7 coming out of college
@tyler7937, Peyton was just smart and realized that running QBs don't last long in the NFL, just ask Tua or RGIII... Especially back when Peyton first entered the league, defenses hit different back then before the NFL decided to play defense like it's flag football...
Please learn history. The original Manning, his grandfather Archie, was one of the best running QB's of all time

He got those legs from his grandpa archie, that man was running for his life back in the day playing for those bad teams.

The mannings are just a gifted bloodline. Eli, Peyton, Archie his grandfather and arch’s dad was a talented receiver. Arch inherited all of their traits combined.

Texas is set up for QB for the next 3 years at least
He ain't staying in college that long. Even If he declared for the draft next year He would be on someone's roster lol
3 years is a stretch considering you can apply for the draft after being removed from high school for 3 years. Ewers is expected to enter this year and that would give Manning a year to showcase his skills before entering the draft the year after.
Buddy is gone after next year. The NFL is not letting that name stay in college too long. They want that name on a NFL jersey asap.
to be fair they were playing UTSA lmfao. excited to see how he performs against some good teams
Uh oh a Manning that can run?

Bragging about beating San Antonio is just embarrassing
San Antonio was losing no matter who the Texas QB was due to the disparity in talent across the board.

Stop guys, it's UTSA.....!!
So????? You couldn't do that against a middle school team.
Why does that matter? Do you know how many top prospects have come in and bombed against terrible teams? All this does is further prove that Arch is rock solid and his hype is real. Many top prospects fold under pressure and their mental game falls apart. Arch has 8 TD's, 150 rushing yds, 430 passing yds, 72% completion percentage in his 7 quarters he has played... I mean it was an unranked team vs #2 in the nation, when the quality of players present is that different it’s hard to tell how good the QB is. On the two big throws there literally wasn’t a player within 5+ yards of the receiver.
This tells you a LOT... What it shows you, is Arch is rock solid, and he is everything we know him to be... How many times has a top prospect come in against a terrible team, and bombed and folded to all the pressure and hype? This shows the pressure does not get to Arch. He intangibles are all there. We are seeing the weapons and skillset in action in real games. Speed, quickness, decision making, accuracy, reading, arm strength. Arch has it all man.

Grandpa Manning has entered the chat;
"Ewers is the starter. Archie will develop and wait his turn. This is about his NFL Future."
Red alert to 31 nfl teams that don’t get him. I think he’s the guy.
OK, Arch Manning is strategical and tactical. Ex. On the run play, he gallopped initially to keep the defensive backs, oblivious to his true speed, from running at full speed, and then when he got a little distance on them, he let loose a full-blown sprint.
Ya’ll chill. He played Texas’ 25th best college football program.
"Turn out the lights, the party's over..."

He’s basically the create a player feature in a video game

That running TD was raw as hell. I thought Manning's couldn't run
He looks like his grandfather finally someone who plays like Archie manning.
Third generation of quarterbacks. Born to do this. Grandfather is NFL QB Archie Manning, and has two uncles that were NFL star QBs in Payton and Eli. He looks like he could be the real deal.
A manning with speed. The generations really be upgraded and better versions😂 his dad was a wr. Not a qb.
Alex Smith knows exactly how Ewers feels right now. I know it's only UTSA, but Ewers just went from being a Heisman candidate and a first round pick to now everyone wondering if maybe he should be the backup. What's worse is Texas plays LA-Monroe next week. If Arch starts and shows out again, the talk is only going to get louder. While rationale people will think, let's at least see him against an SEC team.
If a starter gets hurt he should not lose his starting job to the backup. If that happens, starters begin playing scared of injury. When the starter returns from injury he must play better than the backup. The goal is to win. Production counts.
mobile manning is quite scary..
He's a lot more athletic than his uncles, Eli and Peyton. I didn't think he could run, but this guy can do it all. He's the real deal.
A Manning that can run is about to be a problem.
Manning just showed the difference between a top pick and a mid round backup
Damn I wish he came to Georgia but I can’t blame him going to Texas that prolly tha best pro style offense for a QB to play in
Helps to have a team full of superstars. Texas will be in good hands
Good for him, hope he stays injury free and makes it to the NFL.
Can we all agree that NFL teams should be paying Archie Manning Sr. for some seed samples so they can start growing their starting QBs for the 2045 season?
Its a travesty when a power 5 team beats down a cupcake scrimmage team then yucks it up on a national platform. Just like FSU's early 90's teams. I very very under impressed.
Every big "Name" school does this, Georgia, Bama, Ohio State, Michigan, Tenn, etc...Texas is not unique. Are you also not aware the big name schools also Pay the little schools to play them? These little schools need this financial assistance often just to help run their program, so it is not just the little guy getting bullied, they are getting financial compensation as well to play the big school, and count on that paycheck to play them. It works for both teams. It's clear you are just a Texas hater, which is fine, but all great teams schedule tune up games before their conference schedule begins.
Also, these games are scheduled often 5+ years in advance, this series with UTSA was made years ago when both programs were struggling.
You must be new to College football.
