Nostalgia Drags Invade Midstate Dragway! Blast From the Past Drag Racing Part 6!
If you like old school vintage drag racing, well you are in luck! I took my dad to Havana, IL to the nostalgia drag racing event at Midstate Dragway. This is one awesome 1/8 mile dragstrip that has been around since the late 1960's. it was a beautiful day, 70 degree weather and not a cloud in sight! Yep, perfect weather to make horsepower! Many awesome cars were here, gassers, dragsters, fuel altereds, super stocks, and many more! All makes too, Ford, Chevy, Mopar, and everything else from back in the day! The day was packed full of huge smokey burnouts, awesome wheels up launches, and super fast passes. Small blocks, big blocks, injected, and supercharged, the horsepower was there and making some serious music! Sit back, have fun, and watch some vintage drag racing! Stay tuned for part 7!
