I love how Joe doesn't create any hype or get overly excited about the new prestige news. Instead, he delivers with consistent warmth and security like being wrapped in a blanket with no worries or anxiety. You're a good papa to us all Joe.

*Thank goodness. I'm burnt-out with Daybreak (recruited all ten Red Talon soldiers and got all Red Talon base buildings/mods) and can't possibly tell you guys how glad I am that we're getting prestige in the main campaign.*

@@BEANS_BEANS I can't remember off the top of my head, its been a minute since I played. I remember it mostly depends on the difficulty: the higher the difficulty, the more they eat. At least one of my Red Talon Operatives has a perk that reduces base food consumption for the entire community.

Before update 33: players ignore infestations because it’s not rewarding.
After update 33: players still ignore infestations to purposely trigger sieges to earn prestige.
Why not just reward randomly 5-15 prestige per infestation to give us a real purpose to clear them?

One thing I really want is more variety of voices in the game, since I have many duplicate voices in my communities I always see each survivor as my favorite of all that have the same voice. It would make each survivor more personal if they had less of a chance to have the same voice
they have often stated that hiring new voice actors, for whats basicly a old game is simply too expensive.
@@kimsebimse6603 have the dev team order pizza and beer and just do it. It's hard to do it worse than the soulless delivery present in the game. SOD1 did it much better.

I don't like the idea of loot from freaks i think it breaks immersion I would like a higher spawn rate for ferals though
It's not that Daybreak is bad, but I'd rather develop my community, so it's a great change 💥
Not that big of a update but still w update 🎉i am just happy there a new way to get prestige sure it's not alot but still if it gave over 500+
there would of been no point of day break unless you need the rewards
You guys are polishing Sod2 and it´s great. But you have to think about the old players. We old players need some new map. We are playing the same maps for years and even though Sod2 is my favorite game i´m getting bored, because i think i know every house of all maps 😂
if SoD3 has random map capability ...
game came with 3 maps, players whining got two more. 5 now is enough. 6 if count heartlands.
better wait forSoD3. plenty of other games to solve boredom while waiting.

Ok this is cool but there needs to be a way to unlock the prestige items in the game also.

SoD2 needs a new map, not just any map, but a big city to differentiate it from other country maps... new cars, new zombies of different appearances like firefighter zombies, doctor zombies, civil zombies, police zombies, maid zombies ... new base facilities... this game has great opportunities for improvement and new goals... what you guys need is a detail person to give real world ideas to bring to the game... this game doesn't need of a new one more yes to be resurrected and keep him alive with new updates...
Devs have said that they're done making new maps for SoD2. Most of the team has been moved over to SoD3. So, hopefully we'll see something like what you're talking about in SoD3.
@@monadsingleton9324 ... yeah... plus SoD3 is still a long way off... and if it's put on the table, the SoD3 game teaser will be another game empty of history and the map will be more in the countryside or better saying in the forest in winter than in a mega city, enough of the countryside, take the villages and cities, SoD2 not 3 already required a map of a big city and it's not supposed to be a problem not like the SoD1 dlc... open city with players being able to explore the buildings, the floors, each apartment... this amazing game is turning into a boring game... we need something that makes us feel that emotion of playing it as if it were the first time... i SoD3 is cool yeah... but it will change so much that we don't even know if the change will be good... because new is not always better...
@@monadsingleton9324 They said they don´t want to make a new map but maybe they should reconsider it. It´s still a long way to Sod2 and veteran players of Sod2 need some new content. Can´t play the same maps for years.

@arcanjomiguel2079 I agree with you on some stuff, I think they absolutely need at least 1 city map in sod3 and to push the game into a darker, grittier tone both with graphics and storytelling and voice acting. They will be competing with the game the day before, and so far that game is looking pretty good
250 prestige ? for max lvl siege ? uhm what ? :D thats way too little cause that kind of siege dont happen often lol :D you get about 1000 prestige if you just complete first few stages in Daybreak..its so little for a siege, that you might as well not bother with this change.
If u get 1000 it might just be better doing it in campaign so there no point of day break unless you like playing it
250 is still something it should be like 325 though but not still can't complain
thats the thing with updates. not everyone is going to be happy, but the majority seems to like this.
It should be the other way around, loosing prestiege during sieges, and gain prestieges when morale is high, now you make the game all about getting sieges
Earning influence and Prestige is useless because at my point in the game, you won't need that material. Give us proper rewards or don't even bother.
Influence u still need because when you finish legacy u can change map and get a new bace that cost like 4-5k
prestige is also useful to get red talon just incase one dies
Also i would recommend getting a full team of red talons your team will be op
