Great scenery, realistic, but those crossing bells give me a headache, too loud! And why not run longer freights like the prototype trains? I'd love to see a 100+ car train
I have to say, as someone who’s run thru Moody and La Grange, you captured the scenes very well! The back drop @ Moody looks very much like the 1:1 version .
Another great video. It looks so realistic. Being an Engineer out of Temple, I can say your downtown Moody looks so much like it does today. Same with La Grange, but the loads to LCRA run south, and the empties run north. It's also 25 thru town because of the sharp curve on the north side of town before you get to the big iron bridge. I always enjoy watching your videos, and keep up the awesome work.
This is in Lafayette or lake Charles correct? I’d really like to come by the next time I drive through there this is the best representation of what Texas railfanning looks like. I just hope I can replicate the realism rewinding the clock back 100+ years to the golden age on me south coastal Texas layout
When I was hauling freight down to Laredo I loved seeing all of the UP and BNSF trains, both UP and BNSF pass thru CorsicanaTX and then crossing BNSF yard at Temple TX!! Then the last 125 mile stretch down to Laredo on 35 South UP trains from San Antonio would pace me both ways, so cool!!!!
Excellent video--how big is the layout and where those buildings built using 3D printer coupled with old fashioned balsa wood and paint? Beautiful work! I bet it took over a decade to build..
Thanks. The layout is about 1100 sq.ft. You can see the plan and other details on the presentation video: ruclips.net/video/_NHY8FZ7QhM/видео.html The modern buildings you see are kits I make. You can find them on my website www.summit-customcuts.com
I pass by La Grange on my way to and from Houston. Unfortunately living in Austin for now. Just to let you know, Kato is releasing the most current baggage car for Amtrak!
the only thing i can think of to add to your video /layout is maybe you can add a fan so the trees look like a breeze is flowing....idk, just a thought
WOW! All i can say is WOW! Your layout is fantastic and the attention to detail is simply OUTSTANDING! I just ran across your channel and sub'd right away after watching this video. Simply INCREADIBLE!
@@sgtdebones They may have the wrong sound files. The electronic bell sound was one I found on a Google search with no information of brand 10 years ago. I found the model bell housings just a few months ago. It is one of those little things most people would not notice.

I know this might be the wrong place to ask but I have some ideas for restaurants, maybe at Chick-fil-A, Taco Bueno and a Canes?
Wow, that is the best Ive ever seen, so realistic, the weathering and the layout - just amazing .

Thank you. I know the coal trains are reversed, but that is the artistic freedom to make it work in the room :-)
Great videos. Outstanding layout, weathering, trains, scenery and attention to detail. Keep up the great work!

Since I am a Mailman I love to see the new mail van at 12:35. I have a short line that goes through my route, so I get to see it almost every day
Always a genuine pleasure seeing your marvelous layout. Thanks!

One of the best layouts on RUclips.

I have had that baggage car on pre-order since it was announced. It should be out soon, it was scheduled for february

Nice job I haven't seen you made a video since 2013
Thank you. I have made 10 videos within the last 5 years
7:26 UP SD-70ace
How did you build it?
Could you make a video on how you installed the C/MRI CTC system? I can’t seem to find a helpful video on RUclips about that system.
You're telling me, that's a layout
Yes clearly says it plus the crossings give it away
I've got to say l, you like the railroad crossing spots!
I've heard there's this shack outside La Grange...

The attention to detail is astounding!
3:04 is that a Ben 10 AND a Smokey and the Bandit reference in one screen? ;)
Is there any chance of getting some more videos put up on RUclips please?
Hey Pear, this is Leonard. Just found your RUclips. WoW what's great layout!!
Wow ultra realistic, amazing..
That gas station is spot on and it is making me do a double take as to whether is real life or model.
I like your videos but when are you going to post again.
I keep coming back to your layout. Do you ever run switching ops with geeps?
😊

Does this layout go through MT Pleasant?
no
@@perlaursen478 I modeled your layout with the same engines and cars the OntarioRail12 owns.
What Dcc controller do you ise
Lenz Digital Plus with their new LH101R wireless throttles
At 16:10 you need to change the price of gasoline at the Conoco Station. I think it reads $2.20 per gallon
$2.20? In this day in age . Should be about $3.56 per gallon lol
Spectacular! 😃
Great layout!
spectacular and awesome
I are those e-bells supposed to be WCH, or GE Smarts?
They are sold as WCH, 3D printed
@@perlaursen478 Funny because they sound like GE Smart bells
