- A cluster of severe thunderstorms exploded in the Phoenix metro area . These storms produced wind gusts over 70 mph . A gust of 77 was recorded west of Phoenix .
A lot of close and cool lightning strikes I captured on video !
well ed, we lost chance for lighting here in sonora ca at tick tock base. :( but that is the way it goes , no. ? 4 days ago surface charts were showing a good chance of storms from here into la, but as we got closer and closeer we got a better snapshot of the atmosphire in action.
