I am of a different walk of life and have a unique style, but I do own most of these staples. Some (such as my leather jacket) were hand-me-downs and not something I would have thought to acquire, but I've been working on incorporating it into my outfits. The other day, I wore it with knee-high boots and a floral midi length skirt. It did work really well. The only thing I don't own are wide legged trousers. I like them on others, but I feel that one needs to have a minimum height in order to be able to pull them off. I would replace them with knee length pencil skirts. I have several in different materials. Wool for winter, cotton for the warmer season, and denim for a more casual look. When in doubt, it's pencil skirt, button down shirt, sweater, and heels.

A “button down” refers to a buttoned collar that you see primarily on men’s shirts. A “button up” shirt is the more accurate terminology. 💖
