that's probably because she was already an adult when she played her!! Lane was supposed to be 16 and Keiko was actually 27.

@@bwkeve3876 French is his first language but he learned English fluently - apparently while studying acting lol (but a lot of Montrealers are bilingual from a young age)
A Parisian French accent (his in the show, albeit very dramatized and with a hilarious cadence that's not typical) is quite different from Canadian French. He does have an accent but almost a completely different one.
Congratulations to being one of the greatest shows ever produced!! Can't wait for the sequel to Seasons!!

@@kaiparker7083 Nothing listed on imdb.com, and they usually know before anyone else, it seems. Sure would be nice, but Amy always said she wanted to end GG with those last 3 words that Seasons ended with. SO.... probably not likely, sorry! :(
Keiko Agena who plays Lane is 47 Years old. Looking pretty good for almost 50!

Can’t believe this show is 20 years old! I started watching it when I was 11 in 2010/11 and now I’m 21 and it’s still my favourite show. And I rewatch it every autumn/winter time.

I dive headlong into Gilmore Girls every year during the Autumn 🍂 and Winter seasons, too! I've seen others mentioning the same! Something about Gilmore Girls evokes the comfort and coziness of that time of year! 🧡
Fun fact: Keiko Agena and Lauren Graham are almost the same age!

I was 10 when it first aired. I started watching it for the first time in 2004 when it was on its 4th season and drew my attention. One of the best shows of the 2000's. Has all the elements of life that one can encounter. All of the characters are great and unique especially, Lorelei who grew up in a rich household but became an independent woman which I like about her. And my second favorite character is Paris, who is very smart, crazy, but does care. Although normally I don't watch girl/women shows but this series is a must watch for everyone and you laugh most of time.
I would love new episodes and seasons of Gilmore Girls. I missss Gilmore Girls. Rory pregnant, Lorelei and Luke got married and moving the Dragonfly Inn to a new place. What a bad way to leave an ending. Need more Gilmore Girls and better ending. It seemed like there should more.

I was Rory's age when this came out. Watching it now I relate more to Lorelei. It's funny how time changes things.

I grew up with Gilmore Girls, Dawsons Creek, Felicity, Smallville. Honestly i never gave this show a chance until now. I love it i watch reruns. On up tv , im so hooked, and mad i missed out on something special. ♡︎

The flowers may have been real, but couches weren't. There's an interview where they talk about the gilmore's living room couch you see the most often was so uncomfortable to sit on lol.
I remember seeing that! The couch in Lorelai's house always looked SO comfy to me...I was a bit disappointed learning it wasn't really that way! ☺

The reboot though for gilmore girls on netflix was disappointing part 1-4,the whole story line was poorly written,i felt strongly that rory was better off with jess .
i cant stand my mother, like- emily and lorelai level of cant stand, probably worse
but i am glad she introduced me to this show
