Loved Gipsy and the rest of the cast and she's correct in her statement about this being a show that helps people through tough times. In some of my darkest times (when I lost my mother 8 yrs ago and when I lost my grandmother Sept 23rd) I've turned to the Gilmore Girls to help alleviate the pain. It's my happy place.

I don't know if the actors have gone over their time in the show as a refresher for these interviews but anyway I'm loving how many details and moments they remember about their characters and their lines so many years later!
I have seen this show like 48952 times, (right now I'm on season 5 again) and just realized now that Gypsy's first episode was in season 2. It seemed like she had always been there!
Anyone notice how so many of them can say their favorite lines like they learned them yesterday, when other actors in interviews are asked about movies or shows they JUST did and can't remember a line at all?? I feel like that alone speaks volumes for this show and this cast.

WHAT! one of my all-time favorite lines of gilmore girls comes from gypsy and i can't believe it wasn't brought up here!! "Guys are stupid...You strip your gears, ride your brakes. And if we don't laugh after we make a joke, you think we're serious." Gypsy was feminism in a nutshell.

these interviews are incredible, my fav show is being talked about my fav characters. a very valuable added benefit is i always wanted to know the people who loved this show equally and for all the videos i saw on yutube the comments wud be 2 years or 3 years old or so but these videos are bringing us all together at the same time more or less and i love it.....

I also loved her in Parenthood as Gwen Chambers. She was SO good! The conversations between Gwen and Kristina always made me cry....especially given what she was going through (I won't ruin it for those who haven't seen Parenthood). Parenthood and Everwood are 2 other shows that I watch religiously to just chillax after a long day at work. Gilmore Girls will always be my number 1 though ♥

I really loved her character on the show. Though I am just realizing that maybe her name "Gypsy" wasn't the best choice. I don't think that aged well. But anyway, she was one of my favourite characters for sure!
It is like a warm blanket. She nailed it. I don't like all episodes as they tend to trigger me so I skip those but all the other ones are like honey. I love gypsy. These videos have been popping up min my google cards and hers is the only one I watched completely captivated. Can't wait for Lorelai and Rory's. They'll always be Lorelai and Rory to me.

She is right about it being a go-to show after work. When I would get home from work, the first thing I would do was turn on the TV. I had recorded the show, which was on Mon-Fri. (Re-runs). I did this for years after the show had ended. It was just a comforting thing to be absorbed into after a tough day at work.
