Had this app before I even knew you so great how the world works. Also I put a stupid tube on a spinner bait and caught my pb with it. Gotta throw the random sometimes😂
I swear, in all of these videos, Tyler is putting the bait in his mouth. Take notes guys if it’s tasty enough for him, the fish gotta love it! Haha. Love the videos, tight lines!🎣
I use a modified brush hog on my mini chatterbaits as well, i cut the "arms" and long "antennas" off and about a half inch of the front, its a nice little bait fish size and the "claws" look like a fish tail, bass and pike seem to like it in the CT river
skirtless chatterbaits with a soft swimbait for a "trailer" is my favorite lure ever. I have tons of them in every size possible lol. a-lot of the lakes and ponds in my area are very muddy, so chatterbaits are KING.
I like when you do these comparisons in the boat like mini competitions. It gave me the idea of how you’ve done collabs before with BassFishingHQ and that yall should have a 1v1 in a neutral lake somewhere haha that would be a fun video!
This is very very interesting, Tyler. I bought a whole bag of tubes to try out just for the fun of it and to see if it works. I am going to try this for sure!!
I've killed em on a chatterbait with a faded pink zoom trick worm (full sized) as a trailer. The action is crazy and it's best thrown with some wind in grass.
Thanks Tyler always appreciate these type of videos what a fun day on the lake! When you can’t even stand your buddy beating you it’s time to change up and start to join in the fun! LOL nice recovery Tyler tight lines take care and God bless!
Thanks Tyler for the tips and info on Chatterbaits they are not a strong lure for me but after watching this I have a lot more confidence in throwing it. Thanks bud 👍🏻🎣
My fave softbait is reins rockvibe shad when tails get bitten off which happens a lot i use them as my chatterbait and spinnerbait trailers. So there you have it the best chatterbait trailer in the world, no longer a secret
Tyler, since there are different baits and lures you can throw for the same scenario, how do you pick which one your going to use first? Especially for a bank fisher with no electronics like myself. (I have Bass Forecast app but I still have trouble deciding at times.) And how do you decide when to make the switch to a different lure? Do you switch part of the way through a fishing trip or maybe switch if they just aren't biting in a certain area of the lake? Right before I call in quits at an unproductive area, I always think, "What would have happened if I used the other lures?" Thanks for any response or video made on the subject.
It might "burnout" because of the blade / jig head not because the tube or lack of skirt. I've been using queens tackle blades and noticed it matters what jig head you use
Hey tyler! Great video, im definitely trying this. Quick question though. For sunny skies and calmer water what moving/reaction baits for covering water do you recommend? I dont think a spinnerbait or chatterbait would work because the bass will be able to see that its fake in calm and sunny water, especially if it's clear. And if I have these conditions In stained water, does It matter at all?
How about this... Instead of looking at the naked chattertube as a chatterbait with a tube trailer, think of it as a tube with a blade enhancement. See if that puts a new spin on your "tube fishing".
Be a bro and download the BassForecast App HERE bassforecast.onelink.me/5aRm/tyler

This is true
Try a Mini Chatterbait with a Baby Brush hog trailer. Smokes em on Kentucky Lake

Damn right. Mini Chatterbait flashback catches LUNKERS.
Oh this sounds fantastic tbh. Without a skirt?
I bought some flashbacks and ned sized rage bugs to try out in my local pond that's seen everything under the sun at this point.
@@EnginerdNate ive had good luck with the 1/8oz flashback mini and a 3inch sluggo from lunker city
You came up with a bunch of names except tentacles😊

Glad you enjoyed buddy!
Hey man thank so much. You fought me how to use a baitcaster how to spool it with line and keep teaching me more.
Thanks Tyler for the tips and info on Chatterbaits they are not a strong lure for me but after watching this I have a lot more confidence in throwing it. Thanks bud 👍🏻🎣
Fished chattertube for smallies and wacked 4 4lb plus on crawtubes and regular tube 1 was 6 lbs
I am trying a small tube on a dropshot great information thank you
Give it a go!
My fave softbait is reins rockvibe shad when tails get bitten off which happens a lot i use them as my chatterbait and spinnerbait trailers. So there you have it the best chatterbait trailer in the world, no longer a secret
I picked up some tubes when I first started fishing this summer and I haven’t really used them as much, I should try it on my vibrating jig
Same idk why I never thought of just filling the hollow body. This will make it easy to Texas rig it too
Facts I’m about to try it rn honestly lol
Wow perfect timing I'm rigging up for tmrw and all out of cbait trailers then i see this!
Would you throw a red chatterbait in the fall and the prespawn or just the prespawn
Yamamoto 5" Double Tail Hula Grub on chaderbait
oooooo i like that.
I have a gold blade and some pumpkin hulas. will try it next time i'm on a skunkfest.
I love a tube in late fall on the rocks

3½" Strike king natural goby coffee tube is THE DEAL! It has IT!!! Stuff some garlic power bait in there and start pulling em in!
It’s a good tube for sure
It might "burnout" because of the blade / jig head not because the tube or lack of skirt. I've been using queens tackle blades and noticed it matters what jig head you use
I guess that could be it. I just don’t have burnout with a traditionally rigged TC
my dad caught a 6.5 (his pb) on an orange tube… texas rigged! pretty wild lol
Nice! It’s a sneaky good Texas rig lure

Throw a jerkbait
I've caught my 3 biggest bass on the tubes
Bro you wild ! That’s not a hawk tuah that’s hawkgawwa
I do this all the time 😂
Why don't you just keep the skirt on and still rig the tube as you did? Might just work...
Hmm true. Thats just not how I saw it rigged in other videos. Guess I’ll have to re-try
Context for what tube baits are usually for?
It wasn't weird untill you made it weird
Hi Tyler. Have you tried BFS yet?
I have. Will be doing more content on it this fall
Fun fact: chatterbaits catch snook, too.
I believe it!
Randy Blauket put out this video a year ago.
Ain’t no way Randy actually fished on the water in a video lol
bots going crazy
At the start what craw is that

Another one😂

See if that puts a new spin on your "tube fishing".
Hmm true true
You gotta suck on it before you stick it in the tube. Got it.
Would you just look at it?
I hope you at least bought that poor tube dinner first.
Tyler are you and Taylor married
😂
Ew
