Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching!
Its crazy watching these old videos and seeing how much ur kids have grown up. Ur a good dad! 👍👍
Not been watching long but I really like how you include your family in your business. It’s obvious that y’all do every thing as a family-work and play. Awesome!!
The way that dolly was dragging you could charge twice. Matt's towing and Recovery AND Road Grading.
Matt’s towing and road building.
Even though some of the people on your videos get themselves in really silly situations, it's nice to see that you're really cool with them. 👍
Well they're paying after all...
alienating the customers and possibility, future customers, would be a very stupid idea.
@@krzysztof1520 yet it is amazing how many proprietors do exactly that!
He's a pro...
@@officialWWM Yes, Almost never loses his cool no matter how bad the situation gets!
These videos are great because it really shows normal day situations that any of us can get into while offroading even with the most capable vehicles. Always double and triple prepare you're recovery gear especially going alone.
I bet the kids had a great time. I know how I felt when I was able to hang with my dad at work. It’s cool you take them along.👍👍👍😀
Enjoy your videos a lot, I live in the east so enjoy the sights of the west also the offroading and rock crawling is awsome.
That’s funny, kid friendly show, I just love the updates
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with with the off-road tow dolly. One recommendation I would possibly make since you’re going to raise it up is adding like a 2 inch receiver to the tongue so you could have a removable winch put on there because some vehicles will probably struggle to get onto the tow dolly with it being higher up in the air but that way you can also remove the winch when it’s not in use and have it for other purposes
Absolutely love watching these videos every evening after a long day trucking
Matt: ''What do you say Carter ? Carter: YEEEEEEEEEE!!!. Nice to see that Familly is at the core of this compagny.
“This used to be a kid friendly show”, Damn funny line by Matt.
Please keep the video's flowing. I love watching! Matt, you remind me of my son in law in so many ways, even waiting until the last minute getting ready for your demolition derby! Lol! You have a lovely family! God Bless!
So nice to see your kids helping
UHaul: Do you want the damage waiver?
Matt: Yes; yes I do.
Lmfao hahahahaha
I came across your videos by chance. I live them and often find myself binge watching your videos. Keep them coming.
Looks like it’s time to build a high clearance off road car dolly! Do a build video!
Or put skid plates on it. I built one out of 1/2"hard steel for my '79 GMC "Heavy Half" even though its only 2wd 'cause I got hung up on my transmission brace once. That truck may be old, but it gets through a lot with a street legal 2" lift.
no buy an real off road wrecker
Kevin - I wonder how something like 4WD "DeadPull" from Hill Auto Body and Towing would do in these conditions? (it's likely too wide to weave through the passages there)
Cut the fenders, put a wheel spacer on each side, put bigger tire, fab new fenders to fit the new bigger tire
Till it crashed
This was such a Great idea putting your recovery's on You Tube! And the service you provide is Amazing! I'm in Utah. But I Didn't even know this was a service to be provided! Now I want to test my vehicles at Sand Hollow. If I get stuck, I might just make a call!
i’m from australia and i think your channel is awesome..
Dave Carney I’m from Australia As well and a big fan of the channel
The only comet with a reply is from Australia I guess there's more of us out there than we know 🤔
Ryujin online - We watch Australia channels here in the States and think it’s an awesome country you guys live in! And we see y’all watch our Jeep channels too! Cheers from the US ❤️🐞
Ryujin online haha got to stick together mate
It’s a Bug’s Life hahahaha thanks, check my channel out if you have time, I find it really hard to find Australian based Jeep channels, you guys just do it so much better
That nail to chalkboard post production sound effect was on point.
Thanks for providing clean entertainment. You guys are awesome
I'm addicted to your channel. You're a good man and helping people out get unstuck! You ever thought about putting a small shed/office right in the sand hollow area so you don't have to drive so far?
One thing I love about this show is that it is kid friendly. I don't remember ever hearing a curse word. Well...the guy whose jack collapsed and he was cussing every other breath....but it was bleeped out.😅 That was one of the very first videos.
Thanks for great quality content. My kids love your channel.
Love the shirt Eric! I've got a 67 Bronco that I'm doing a frame off resto on! Nothing like an early Bronco!
Some people are really good and class apart in this world , you just happen to be in tops of that list , all the best in whatever you put your hand into
Really need some flashing lights on your truck like your new wrecker. Look more like a professional wrecker even though it’s a Jeep. Love the videos watch them while I’m on the road away from my family thanks for the awesome footage.
Tow dolly dragging on the rocks makes interesting music.
Wonderful kids. You are a blessed man.
Nothing that a set of 32” tires and fender relocation wont fix
I'm thinking a set of air bags might make for a good way to get the thing low enough to still load easily, and then pump it up for some reasonable clearance.
@@austinmabry5654 but the youll need a tank and a pump
@@suicidaljell
False. No tank required, and the "pump" can be a simple 12v air compressor like the one I keep under the seat of my UTV. ;)
@@suicidaljell I have air bag suspension on my T Bucket. I have a very small air tank (1 gallon) and a ViaAir compressor under the seats permanently mounted. There are different grades of 12 volt air compressors. Mine has a 100% duty cycle up to 100 PSI. You would not need the air tank, BUT, if you could plug it in to the Jeep's 12 volt system, you could fill the tank while you were loading up the disabled vehicle, then it would take seconds to air it up and be on your way.
the things you do with those jeeps are amazing, your mods work so well all I can say is... Dude you are fun to watch
Matt, you’re a straight up cool dude. Love these videos and we learn a lot from you. We also learn a lot about what not to do to stay out of bad situations as best we can. I’ve always pulled people out with chains. No snatching, of course. Going to look into getting a snatch rope for sure! Do you have any recommendations on type and brand?
Man I love that look of your xj, keep up the good work mate
that jeep is a champ! Keep it up guys.. great vids!
Just catching up... master at your craft sir... pleasure to watch... and humble too... epic!
Hey man love watching your videos. Dont have a jeep but just bought my first truck. 2018 Chevy colorado z71
Maybe cut/modify the fenders with larger tires and a more drop hitch should help out the dolly.
On the dolly just raise the fenders up and put bigger tires on it.
Great job Matt and crew.
You guys are great. I love yalls videos.
Winder road grading we smooth out the roads while towing you out😆
Awaiting to see modified dolly!!!! I’m sure it will be cool and one of a kind!! Enjoyed
Hi Matt,
Perhaps you want to think of putting in nice, top end reverse cam on the banana? Mount it high, and make it manually switchable. While you're doing that bit of auto electrical, put a reversing buzzer on the XJ. You reverse with curious members of the public milling around quite often. People's brains freeze when they're watching towing pros in action...
I wish I could work for you in your busy season. I used to be in the business, and I miss the sense of satisfaction that one gets from helping folk.
Showing them the routes, Matt. Good show!!
Keep them coming. Very entertaining!
3:40 “I used the impact wrench that didn’t work, then I used a four foot breaker bar which kept snapping them off” Sounds like the last garage that changed or rotated your wheels owes you some money, for the breakdown recovery, some new studs and bolts..
Was he trying to take Left-Hand studs off Right-Handed?
Pete Rihoy they’re right hand thread. I have a similar truck.
get a bigger drop hitch so you're not dragging the ramps the whole time with the trailer tongue raised up so high.
derek engstrom no need now, someone took out the trailer :/
Can wait to see what you do with the dolly. 33s maybe?
I always help people out
Hi Matt,
You cracked me up when you said, "This used to be a kid friendly show!"😅
Please explain the magic of the rope!
I own a dolly and it does the job but I’m always looking in the rearview mirror in terrier that the towed vehicle is going to fall off even with the straps put on the right way
Thanks for your kind patience. If I would have watched the entire video before making my comment ,,, I would have known. Great videos by the way
The master does it again. Nice video dude
Hey Matt. Love your channel. I have an 01 XJ I use strictly for off-roading. No doors no glass 35s ox lockers. The main reason I'm commenting is your muffler is coming in on the mic pretty loud. Watched about 10 of your videos today and the noisy exhaust was on all of them. A stock muffler would be beneficial to your videos imo. Thanks for your off-road videos. They're great!
robert blakley dude what, you’re complaining about an off-road jeep being to loud???
4:00 It’s better to remove/tighten bolts in a star pattern rather than around in a circle.
Matt, this video has kind of given me an idea for an off road dolly. Not sure how well the thing would work but perhaps it may. Just off the top of my round head I do see ways to improve on a regular one. If you are interested let me know. I'll be drawing on napkins and stuff. Dunno if it will help you or will work but just watching was like, " I can make that better". Crayons and sharpies incoming.
Great video thank you!
I’m having great difficulty scrolling passed your videos, no matter how hard I try I cannot do it😜
Hey matt, keep the videos coming. Reason to live.
Here's an idea, make a flip up LED sign that would sit on top of the jeep programmed with different messages which you could toggle thru on a panel..1- straighten your wheels, apply brakes, turn left or right, stop...you get the idea. These are used for wide loads. Maybe some swearing symbols for running over your rope.
HAH ! Carter it's a natural ! Well done, dude. 😎👍
What you need is a tow dolly with the ramps are attachable separate cuz that's what's dragging used to work for Nationwide trailers Bimmer great for the road but off road no not so good but hey it's working little noises no big deal if you just going to cut it off you can just drag it off slowly in time cool
One customer brought us in a jeep for a new steering gear turned out a radiator bolt was jammed in the steering gear bell joint, my first jeep build broke a rag joint at a stop light of all places.
Sounded like my exhaust scraping down the interstate. 😂🍻🤙🏽
ahhhhh metal on rocks. The only better sound is a rod knock.
Do a high lift build!, Just got my signed "Johnny Lightning Banana" and sticker for my Jeep! keep up the good work, I love the area you are in, was there is 2011 and was going to take my Jeep there. maybe 2021 Spring.
Thanks for sharing this video
The best solution would be to remove the axle and replace it with hydraulic shock like pistons on each wheel that could be raised and lowered as needed. Where i used to work we had a work trailer that had this feature. it could lay flat on the ground then raise up to at least a foot of clearance! It was a hand pump no electric pump was needed.
The problem with the Tow Dolly on a normal bumpy road is bad enough, but this road is beyond bumpy.
The problem isn't the Ramps being too low, look at the other side of the see-saw, the hitch is too high.
When loading, it didn't look like the ramps were tilted at all.
When unloading, the ramps weren't even tilted and the back looked about an inch off the ground.
Matt needs to bring a longer drop hitch to keep those ramps from dragging.
I like Brett and Carter. My favorite of Matt's kids that we have met in these videos.
Easy way to make a high clearance dolly: take off the fenders, put on taller tires, fabricate new fenders.
On the dolly a lot of that can be fixed by carrying a drop receiver hitch. If you lower the ball your raise the ramps. The other thing would be make the ramps removable. If you put too tall of a tire on it the ramps get too steep and make it hard to load.
I have never seen a car dolly off road. Leave it to Matt!
Removable ramps and taller tires on the dolly would help. Just a thought.
I want to work for you looks like a lot of fun
SOA is what I did too my trailer thanks for the footage
I'm sure I have watched this at least twice before and just realized my son has the same Ford Bronco shirt as Matt's guy.
i have a hitch mounted winch for my dolly setup. battery in the bed with just a hot wire to the other battery and a switch.. ive winched like 20 cars before the battery gets sad and need to be tied in
Put the same size tires that your Jeep has and modify the fenders for the larger tires. Arm chair quarterback 101!
man that second recovery sounded ruff!
Keep up the Good work Matt! Hope I don't see you on my next Zion Trip(😂 for towing that is) 🤝lol great vids bro!!
Lifted car dolly hell yes🇺🇸👍🏻
Excellent 👌
That dang car dolley could use some slightly bigger/beefier tires for one thing, which will give you a little extra clearance 🤔
You should check out the Acme Towdolly, ramos come off and weight is right at 400 lbs, no fear of contact between fenders and car or truck body
Great Job on the camera kids !!!
That dolly hitting them rocks was like fingernails on a chalkboard 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
One of these days someone is going to call you out on a job, and while you are crawling under their car, they are going to paint the ends of those bumpers black while you aren't looking. They'll be my hero.
This is more entertaining than some reality shows on mainstream television today.....just saying!
Maybe a 4 inch lift kit and some Ko 2s on that dolly🤣
Love your Jeep, it never quits ( even when it quits )
Any suggestions on mods for a WJ to run out in your sand box? Other than a sat phone with you on speed dial.
not surprised to see a 150 messed up on the roadside
If the ramps on the tow dolly aren't removable, you should make them removable.
Otherwise you will need a bit more drop on the Jeep hitch to keep the ramps from dragging on the road though they will continue to drag on anything and everything offroad...
Apparently, a mechanic was overzealous with an impact wrench to the point of damaging the lug nuts and studs on the F-150.
R.I.P. dolly - In another video, a DUI driver collides with it, leaving it in pieces. Hopefully that driver paid for a new one, one with a good deal more ground clearance (air bag suspension for adjustable height??)
Aluminum rims also don't help, they love to build up corrosion on the flange and all around the lug nuts, especially if the wheels haven't been off in a while.
Tow dolly mods nsuggestions: larger tires and/or a straight axle for increased ground clearance.
Carter looks like a bobble-head doll.
what happen to the spare tire?
Didn't look like he had a spare.
Dang it my kids wont srop crying after watching that. Hope the next one is more kid friendly.
All that scraping is self clearancing. Just run it! Haha
