As local, I don't see this restaurant regarded as high quality but more in marketing. And It's Hong Kong style instead of Canton style, that's fundamental issue. What is the editor thinking? Total lack of respect of HK culture from the channel, interesting
As a local hk, i can tell you 99% of bad comments about JJ is either from loser never been there (booking is crazily hard) or ppl just have no taste bud looking for cheap food. Ask any industry folk, somm, chef or reall food critics (not the IG BS) , you will only hear good things about JJ.
So you basically just declared there is no freedom of speech in HongKong😂😂😂 the wills that against you are either losers or haters, and only propaganda is allowed😂😂😂 that's very Hong Kong and suit HongKong situation perfectly
I'm just calling them liars when one claim they had a dinner there with seafood and end up paying $300. Obviously haven't been there. No way you could leave under $500 but it just worth every penny. The wine is a steal there pretty sure one of best price in town, I had a btl of 1978 vosne romanee at $980 there. I guess it just not a place for everyone.

Most “polite” place I’ve ever been to during lunch hour. Excellent quality of service. Only been diued by the waiters like 4 times!
