    This is the neatest basket I have tried so far. Very elegantly done. Great artwork. I hope you post more videos like this. 👍

    A huge thank you, Caylene for such amazing tutorials and the best use of stitch markers!
    Im very new to crochet and of all the many tutorials Ive watched, yours are THE BEST!
    Placing the stitch markers on both the gorgeous basket in this tutorial and the gorgeous blue basket tutorial is beyond helpful to guide those of us new to crochet where it can be rather tricky knowing where to slip stitch into or where to increase etc.
    Im waiting for the craft supply warehouse to open on Monday so I can purchase two different colours of 2mm macrame cord to make both of your baskets….no words for how grateful I am to your for such beautiful projects and amazingly thorough tutorials - heartfelt gratitude 🥰💕

    If I want to make a few more rounds for the base, how do I figure out when to do single crochet and when to do a double crochet in the increase zone?

    I love this basket and it's a great tutorial. I'd like to make a bigger basket just like this one. How do I make it sturdy so the sides don't collapse? Should I use macrame yarn? Wire?

    • @craftingwithcaylene
      @craftingwithcaylene  2 года назад +6

      If you are comfortable working with chunky yarn, you can try 6mm craft cord/macrame yarn to make a large version of this basket. The larger the yarn, the sturdier the basket. Keep your stitches nice and tight - this helps to make the basket sturdy and also makes the stitches look more defined!

    I enjoyed the way you made the basket my only problems is the music in the background playing the same tune over and over it made me have to concentrate harder

    🙂Wow there is a lot Of sound in the background in this video! And it does not help me if i turn it down, because I need to hear your voice☺️. Maybe consider subtitle? Love from 🇳🇴🫶🌻

    Beautiful basket and so well explained. Just one question. I notice you turn your work to the other side every time you start a new round. What is the reason for this? Thanks in advance :)

    • @craftingwithcaylene
      @craftingwithcaylene  2 года назад +2

      Thank you! And yes, it’s my personal style of crocheting in the round, and I explained this in some of my newer videos. I do this for most of my projects, whenever I’m aiming for a specific look and texture, so it’s mainly for aesthetic reasons :)

    Is it possible. For you to give a written pattern for the base of your basket I absoutley love the pattern but beacause I am a llittle slow I am not able to keep up with you therefore end up with nothing like your pattern if it is not possible for you to give me a written. Pattern for which I would be happy to pay for perhaps you can just do the base pattern before I can begin the actual basket thanks a lot

    I wished there was written pattern so I can print it out. I don’t mind watching the video but when I’m traveling I don’t have much service.
