I love Chinese and Japanese food's routine. They eat a variety of foods in small portions in a single meal. This way, they get all the nutrients that their body needs and don't get fat because they mostly eat vegetables, fruits, some rice and the proteins. To this it seems that they add a good sleep and the moves, the physical activities.
And it looks like she ate so much food because of the many bowls, but really this meal is probably like only 500-600 calories. Meanwhile Westerners will eat a 1500 calorie meal piled high on big plates and say they didn't eat too much. US portion sizes are out of control. I went to a hotel in Chicago and ordered a hot dog, they gave me two giant hot dogs for one meal, and a half plate of fries piled up.

And don't tell me you can't have it for breakfast. Breakfast is the most important important meal of the day. you notice another thing? her clothes and makeup routines are what in the west are called extreme minimalism, a small wardrome, put your hair up in a bun, makeup just to enhance a bit your natural beauty, and that alone will cut an hour or more of CRAZY getting ready routines now a days. so I think this is all very possible to make a nice omelette and some nice cut veggies instead of drawing our face on and styling our hair like its for the Wella awards.

I think this is possible if we managed our expectations and time better. She didn't use time to blow dry her hair, she woke up early, took a quick shower. That alone gave her an extra hour. Have you ever noticed how easy it is to get out of bed when you already know what you are wearing? Something as small as that puts you in the right mood.....at least it does for me.
I'm awake this morning and super hungry, but can't figure out what healthy to prepare for breakfast..So looking at youtube for ideas, but all I've got is to laugh a lot reading this comment.
To everyone wondering about the amount of food - it's not a lot. She had only two rolls of omlete, miso soup (which was basically daikon radish and chives), a small thing of tofu,, veggies, and a bowl of rice with nutto and sprouts. Everything healthy and light ("light" meaning - this food will not make you feel too full). She did not eat everything that she prepared.
It's "natto". And yes all that is true. I've been doing more of this. Today I made myself jajangmeyeon, miso soup, some pickled radish slices, and a side of kimchi. That was just today. I've been gearing my diet more towards healthy Asian foods and I have found my stomach bloating has gone way down, I have more energy, and I'm not hungry as often as I thought I would be. And if it is a bit later and I do get kind of hungry, I'll have a small bowl of miso soup instead of eating candy or even basically a second dinner.
Yes, you're right! And she eats small portions. Mostly vegetables. The only thing that can be considered heavy is the rice. But she ate just a small portion of it.

Japanese breakfast is really light. I don’t like to eat breakfast because western breakfast (cereal, bread) makes me feel nauseous in the morning, but japanese breakfast is fine to me
Might take some time to get used to but a large breakfast is so much better than large dinner. You don't need so much food at night while you sleep, it actually makes most people sleep worse and gain weight because your body is trying to be inactive
I can make some pretty good guesses on the dishes. She made: miso soup with daikon and green onion, cucumber and fish cake "salad", natto with radish sprouts, tamago yaki(rolled egg omlet), tofu topped with wasabi and bonito flakes, rice and iced green tea.
There are daikon miso soup, rice, natto with cebette and herbs, fresh tofu, cucumber with sesame seeds some fish cake. The omelet is just made with some sugar and salt. The sauce are dashi for the miso soup, soy sauce and maybe the yuzu mix soy sauce. You find everything for a very cheap price in Japan
Rice, daikon, dashi pack, scallion, (red?) miso, cucumber, chikuwa (but could probably sub other fishcake, I can't read Japanese but it looks like rice vinegar and soy sauce in those bottles, kewpie mayo, black pepper, sesame seeds, eggs, I think that was dashi powder but could honestly be anything, some sort of microgreen, natto, silken tofu with wasabi and bonito. I hope that helped!
@@erinb4237 Pretty sure that was sugar she put in the egg. It looks nothing like dashi and clings together like a damp sugar would. They do sometimes put sugar in their eggs which I always thought odd. But what do I know.
@@sweetstormz it shouldn't be too hard to find most of those ingredients, especially if you live near an h mart. I know Amazon has bonito and natto is really slimy and bitter.
Probably not nearly as much, honestly. Breakfast is supposed to be the biggest meal; most are just accustomed to eating the bigger meal for dinner, because we rush in the morning. Unless you meant what foods she eats at dinner 😆
not so much food those kinda of breakfast is for energy cause they work/study all day and without a good breakfast, they can't do all things they normaly do
Remember they work 12 hours a day in Japan, so maybe the meals throughout the day are smaller. I didn't see her bring a lunch kit, which is customary in Japan too, so maybe she forgoes lunch too or gets something light for lunch.

@@rabask9226 3 hours? Never. Natto, tofu, fish cake is basically ready to serve. Healthy breakfast is the most important thing in the morning. It will last the whole day and you can do more work with good energy. Less make-up and more time to prepare a healthy breakfast before going to work. Simple lifestyle and more productive day.
if Luis doesn't tell her everyday she's the most beautiful woman in the world, i'd gladly do it
Save that line for me
Im a girl and i want her to be my wife
🖕😎🖕
I know what you mean, lol. She cooks so well. Who wouldn’t want to have a wife like that...?
🖕😎🖕
same but i`m a lesbian so this a normal statement for me LOL
😂😂😂😂😂😂💞
the song on this was beautiful, but i was so excited at the end, i was like, "ah, she skates?! nice!"
Damn this woman has a cameraman following her every morning
Indeed
:))
He waited with the camera all night for her to wake up and do her routine 😄
This would most likely be a lunch for me. That is plenty
Would be a full day of food for me 😂
More than my breakfast and lunch...and yet she is quite lean. I envy her metabolism...or very active lifestyle
@@AndrewSmith00000007 all of that was very healthy food, w/o the rice maybe, but we all need our carbs in the morning, right?
@@caesarsalad9288 Just because rice contains carbs doesn't mean it is unhealthy. We need carbs in our diet.
@@chocothebananacat7686 eh thats what i said, i guess :D
Your breakfast looks so nutritious and healthy!
Guys she is cooking her breakfast and I am out of nowhere watching it like it's the most important task at 1AM
Same lol, exactly 1am
Haha 1:24 here. 24 min late. Still counts though
Same! Landed here at 3.02 am.
0258 - impressed and inspired and loving all the replies 😱😬😂🥰
I've joined the 1am club
Me in the morning : crawling like a zombie to get my coffee.
🥴...🤣🤣
ah, good to know I'm not alone.
Me too
@@krissyr3393 true, and it's kind of obvious when observing that the people who drink coffee feel this way in the morning but people who don't drink coffee are not like this

Am I only one who's feeling relaxed and calm after listening this calming background song ...this video was a therapy 🌸🌸🌸
Thank you for getting my ass to the kitchen - I did the dishes and then a an egg omelette with spinach and soup for dinner. Sat quietly and enjoyed my dinner! :)
what the hell she's so good at cooking, everything look so tasty
She must have done it a thousand times
Wow. If you think that was amazing, you obviously don't know how to cook at all yourself
Some of that one bowl looked like snot mixed with grass.
@@tarynmosakowski3512 that’s cool but IMO it looks good and I respect Japanese culture cause the “snot” you talking bout is natto a dish that has been eaten once by everyone in Japan

This woman: gets up early, applies lipstick and prepares healthy and nutritious breakfast
Average Japanese college student: wakes up at 2pm, spends next hour on social media, eats instant ramen and immediately falls asleep again
Damn that’s a college student, Ive been like that after duty. 😂😂😂 im a potato nurse
Absolutely most of them eating instant food
Almost 10 years here in japan most of them eating instant food and I think she’s a fitness instructor even the doctor’s and nurse here unhealthy living life
We Students seem to be the same everywhere in the world 😂
This would be my lunch! I have carbohydrates for breakfast: coffee with toasts and cereals.
Very interesting, she has such a peaceful way about her.
Those knife skills, satisfying👌
Luis be waking up and be having this bomb ass food🤩
I wake up and all I eat is huevo con chorizo :(

ahaha i literally toast 2 pieces of bread and put butter on, my breakfast is so boring :(
Yo bro, don't knock chorizo 😂

The alarm in the beginning triggered my fight or flight LMAO but this was a nice video thank you for sharing :)

Her meal explains why Jap dont age. Very little oil, balance of greens and protein, green tea + natto in the morning. Respect!
amazing/but I could never eat that much for breakfeast
Japanese breakfast is really light. I don’t like to eat breakfast because western breakfast (cereal, bread) makes me feel nauseous in the morning, but japanese breakfast is fine to me
Might take some time to get used to but a large breakfast is so much better than large dinner. You don't need so much food at night while you sleep, it actually makes most people sleep worse and gain weight because your body is trying to be inactive
depends on what you had for dinner
@@leonorlatour9250 that’s the main point japanese people have less food on evenings
And I'm like: I'm happy if I'll be able to make a sandwish.. ^^
I love your morning breakfast
I like Japanese cuisine
There's a bunch of ingredients I don't even recognise, I'd love to learn more about these recipes and the ingredients they use, they look delicious!
I can make some pretty good guesses on the dishes. She made: miso soup with daikon and green onion, cucumber and fish cake "salad", natto with radish sprouts, tamago yaki(rolled egg omlet), tofu topped with wasabi and bonito flakes, rice and iced green tea.
@@jenniferstadwick2155 super merci pour les explications. 👍🍜🥣🍵🔪🥒🍤
The level of discipline just amazes me! I am so inspired.
Love Japanese food 💕 it’s healthy and delicious 😋 we love to have sushi night at home once a week!
I would love to know the whole ingredient list 😊
There are daikon miso soup, rice, natto with cebette and herbs, fresh tofu, cucumber with sesame seeds some fish cake. The omelet is just made with some sugar and salt. The sauce are dashi for the miso soup, soy sauce and maybe the yuzu mix soy sauce. You find everything for a very cheap price in Japan
@@elomoagu ur a real one
Me too @La-Luna
@@elomoagu oh Damn. All the ingredients so expensive here in UK, it’s literally $15 for something like mirin or miso paste. :(
@@elomoagu thank you for the ingredients, she is so slim , that’s a lot of food. are these ingredients can be found in USA international market ?
When you do the cooking part can you add some English ingredients of what you used
Rice, daikon, dashi pack, scallion, (red?) miso, cucumber, chikuwa (but could probably sub other fishcake, I can't read Japanese but it looks like rice vinegar and soy sauce in those bottles, kewpie mayo, black pepper, sesame seeds, eggs, I think that was dashi powder but could honestly be anything, some sort of microgreen, natto, silken tofu with wasabi and bonito.
I hope that helped!
@@erinb4237 Pretty sure that was sugar she put in the egg. It looks nothing like dashi and clings together like a damp sugar would. They do sometimes put sugar in their eggs which I always thought odd. But what do I know.
@@erinb4237 Thank you! I was wondering too about two things: chikuwa (didn't know that) and couldn't recognize silken tofu even though I use it :D
@@erinb4237 Thank you. I still have no idea what some of those foods are, but now that I’ve got the names, I’m of to do my research.
@@sweetstormz it shouldn't be too hard to find most of those ingredients, especially if you live near an h mart. I know Amazon has bonito and natto is really slimy and bitter.
The discipline is extraordinary.
I would be thrilled with just managing and eating one of those dishes.
same lol
Same! Before 9 am, food doesn't seem to agree with my stomach.
Ha ha😁
If that’s the breakfast, what does she cook for dinner ?😀
Probably not nearly as much, honestly. Breakfast is supposed to be the biggest meal; most are just accustomed to eating the bigger meal for dinner, because we rush in the morning. Unless you meant what foods she eats at dinner 😆
not so much food
those kinda of breakfast is for energy cause they work/study all day and without a good breakfast, they can't do all things they normaly do
Remember they work 12 hours a day in Japan, so maybe the meals throughout the day are smaller. I didn't see her bring a lunch kit, which is customary in Japan too, so maybe she forgoes lunch too or gets something light for lunch.
Probably she cooks the same as what she did for breakfast or eats leftovers from it.
Beautiful video, like a piece of art ☺️
This meal would be more of an afternoon meal in the US. Early morning all I eat is fruit and drink water. Lovely dishes!
I love the effort she pt into her first meal of the day.
Yes, a great start to her day.
Looks so tasty. Thank you for sharing 💕💕💕
The Song kinda depresses me but it is quite beautiful. Also Masumi does so much just in the morning, that is very freaking impressive! Also loving the vibes of the video. Instant Subscription!!

Around the 4 minute mark, wherever this song went, and those boss egg skills...that was moving 👌
Beautiful sharing thanks
I need to learn how to cook like this ❤️
By the time she's done with her mourning routine it's time for lunch.
I just did my research. Japanese breakfast is one of the healthiest in the world and im gonna eat it everyday from now. It's so easy to make.
The cherry on the cake would be sleeping again after eating all that good food 😂
It looks quick and easy, but It's actually a LOT of work, including the cleaning afterwards
I would calculate that her cooking took about 1 hour and a half +showering and dressing up+ cleaning up. i think those are about three hours overall.
@@rabask9226 So in order to get to work on time (assuming they start work at 9am), she would need to wake up at least 3 hours in advance which is 6 a.m. To compensate for travel/commute time, lets just take a 30min average, so that's 5:30a.m
@@1101G12646 So their routine would be, work, gym, house cooking, sleeping. And a forever and ever loop.
@@rabask9226 3 hours? Never. Natto, tofu, fish cake is basically ready to serve. So miso soup 5 min, natto with sprouts 5 min, tofu 5 min, cutting cucumbers and fish cake 5 min, rice basically cooks itself during the time she cooks. So if you assume that it takes her 20 min to shower and get styled, 15 min to eat and 10 min for doing the dishes, I assume that it takes her ca 1,5 hour. If you do this every day, you'll get quite routined :)
Wow I really like her house even tho it’s small I would love to live in it alone because it’s really cute and neat
Who else stuck around just to see if she could eat all that food?
😂😂😂😂i did
The entire time I was thinking she was cooking for two. Waiting for someone else to sit down and eat haha

I get it dear
I was about to say the same thing lol
I eat satisfying meals like that when I’m alone. It is a very satisfied feeling. You can walk out the door feeling accomplished before doing the entire day’s activities!
That's not a good sign. I guess. Also not good for others (long story). When you just eat Rice always when you are alone your selfworth love is not ok.
