1980 Yamaha RD400G Restoration

- This is my Canadian 1980 Yamaha RD400G.
It is very much similar to the 1979 RD400F Daytona Special.
This is just a quick video to show the overall condition and location of certain bits and pieces before I completely disassemble the frame for media blasting and painting.
I am trying to determine the correct primer, paint and level of gloss for the frame, wheels and other parts for a show worthy paint job.
Please comment and let me know what you did!

That will be a 3J7 model I guess, which will have the 2R9 engine and exhausts, so a better bike than the US 2V0 models in many ways. Look forward to seeing updates as your restoration progresses, as I have literally just commenced the restoration of a 3M4 RD400F myself.
