What's good fellow porters! today we'll be clearing a Terrorist camp with non-lethal weapons on very hard difficulty with no HUD or reticle. I can't wait for when DS2 (death stranding 2) releases!

@American Devil there's a couple things in this video that are only availablein the directors cut, like the ability to jump really far (stabiliser level 3) and the drop kick. Everything else is in the base game. Good luck fellow porter, keep on keeping on 👍👍

@@zionzar7899 Hope you both stuck with it, game really opens up after you leave the Eastern Region and head for Port Knot City. Story gets rolling too, loving Mads' role in it so far.
i just finished the game last night. was amazing,. how did you find it? was there lots of roads rebuilt. and zip lines that actually worked
I should give this game a try. I had friends and other people who told me to never try this game as it's a super boring and tedious game so Ive been avoiding it for a good while but later on I have looked gameplay of this and thought that this game might be for me. I love games that does have a sense of adventure, exploration, combat but also just having moments of where you can just walk around and just wonder off peacefully. Reminds me of my hikes.
Edit: So I played it and I actually love the game. I love the exploration, how the terrain really effects Sam's movement and just how carrying cargo around makes a difference on how you travel. I find the BTs the most terrifying thing as I am still learning how to navigate around them but so far so good. Definitely not a game for everyone but I felt it didn't deserve the hate it got before.
It ligit is super peaceful, some people just dont appreciate quite games like this where walking around can actually be fun

Definitely not a game for everyone… as long as you watched some gameplay then you have an idea whether or not you ll like it .
For me it is a great game for others it is trash .
Death Stranding is like Blade Runner in films. People back then says they're boring and slow but people will start to appreciate the artistic value and the production. Death Stranding is like that though after few hours in the game started to clique and the action started to kick in like most storytelling.

Currently 2 hours into the game, almost did the beginning missions where Sam meets his president mom and she dies, I like the game till now at most moments, let's see how it goes further.
I had no idea there even was combat in this game, I might have to give it a try

I am a huge graphics and animation snob. This game seems to be excelling in those departments for sure. I always thought this game was a walking simulator before I saw this video. Seems super fun. Downloading meow

It’s very good. It is very interesting and fun but it was a game I played before bed. Perfect game to wind down. I believe it’s on sale.

I went through the entire main story and am now halfway through going full completionist and I have NEVER seen that hovering maneuver. That would have been a godsend at any point until now.
It was added in the ps5 version of the game, its a backpack upgrade

I didn't know before that I could kill these enemies, so I usually just avoided them.
@@kadoman0 will they stop respawning if you kill and burn them or its the same with just knocking them out but more hustle?
@@slavywavy They will respawn after a few real life hours
Well one thing is knocking them out, another thing is killing them... If you do kill them you might have to go incinerate the bodies afterwards unless you want funny BTs and kaboom

I happened to be just near that mule camp as i watch this video.
The ps 5 version looks so good! Didnt know there are chirelium coated bagpack, bike and that jetpack thingy even though i have completed the story. These certainly make him timefall proof.
Contradictary to the point that chirelium is harmfull for humans but sam is totally coated with it.
Now that ive started playing the game in very hard mode, gettinv chirelium off the BTs has become a hard task. Othwr than that, everythings good.

Who is coming here after seeing it on epic mystery game?
I got it for free from epic and was confused ans stopped after watching nearly an hour of cutscenes and just doing a delivery but the story is probably super rich i mean i havent played yet but im tempted on my off days just to play this

Does the Silverhand arm show up >in cutscenes< or is it gameplay-only?? I know a lot of other "equipped" items similar to the arm show up in cutscenes, but nothing online, reddit, articles, other youtube videos, ever answer if the arm does...
It goes in the gloves slot, so like most items, depends on the cutscene. Some just show you as-is, others will remove all equipment barring current boots. It's inconsistent lol

@@ando2421 Stabilizer, catapult, jump ramp, new car, racetrack, more melee moves, new weapon, 2 new missions. Its a few but i would say it makes the game a bit more fun, not "so much more" fun
It's easier to play on pc because you can just 1 tap on the head using assault rifle
First several hours of the game is strictly walking. Once you get the bike (very versatile on land), the game opens up to a whole bunch of different gameplay styles. Make sure you get the bike blueprint as well, so you can recreate them as much as you'd like. The cool weapons and moves are slowly given to you until the halfway mark. The halfway mark makes you feel OP if you deliver enough packages to upgrade perks.

Not hating, but there's no need to spray. A well aimed burst to the head puts them down so much faster.

Only for bossfights
Example: Tie down Higgs or Cliff with the Strand and you can use square to stomp them

It's mad looking at the gameplay now and realising it's the fox engine for MgsV like the animations and driving and running. It's a cool engine and looks great but I think some smoother more realistic animations would look miles better on that engine
This game is not built on the Fox Engine. It’s built on the Decima Engine which is the same engine used for Horizon Zero Dawn

Unsatisfying combat
I couldn't so this game. At first i absolutely loved it, but after like 3 hours i found it to be incredibly tedious.
Delivering packages, the same enemies over and over, the incredibly mediocre feel of the combat, avoiding timefall and BTs, and the weird lore.
I bought Ghost of Tsushima and completely dropped this game instantly. Maybe ill come back.
Something about the weird Kojima characters and bizarre lore with flying oily whales and beaches and strands was just a real boner-killer. I wanted to like it so bad.
Also, if you think this constitutes "brutal" combat, check out Ghost of Tsushima. You cant even kill anyone in Death Stranding! Its non-lethal mediocre combat, nothing brutal about that.
you can kill people in death stranding… and me personally i love the whacky confusing lore of the game, its interesting having questions along the game where they all get answered at the end. I personally love this game but i totally understand why some ppl would avoid it

I wish you could kill people tbh atleast as a post game setting.. They give me grenades, guns and 2 fucking rocket launchers but i cant even use them on anything except BTs

Na początku ta gra wydawała mi się naprawdę świetna ale im dłużej w nią grałem tym bardziej robiła się beznadziejna. W kółko jedno i to samo. Fizyka w tej grze jest do dupy, strzelanie totalnie zjebane a jeżdżenie pojazdami to już wogole totalne kurwa dno. Nie dałem rady poddałem się po dotarciu do heartmana. Ta gra miała świetny potencjał ale hideo nie bardzo się postarał. Żałuję tylko że poświęciłem na to gówno asz 65 godzin. A ostatnie 20 było naprawdę na siłę bo ciągle myślałem że już nie daleko koniec. Gra jest za długa i za bardzo niedorobiona

@@HoldingCellGames Your aiming was just fine. The sensitivity when doing gunplay in this game is pretty high as is -- without the reticle makes it even more difficult.

Personally I won't play it because it looks boring. The idea is good, but the gameplay is boring as hell. Honestly I didn't like the combat, it's dull, there is no challenge or anticipation for anything major, I would give it 2 out of 10 compared to Metal Gear or Dead Space.

It is a very disappointing game, I prefer letal weapons and not carrying so many staff...
I love this game. It's hands down next to metal gear one of my favorite games. But it's laughable because once you get those thrusters, you become so spoiled. Deliveries are half as easy. It's wonderful. But you don't get them till later so it's okay, you'll feel like you earned it. 😂😂😂
