Nope. I have had whole groups of dead machines despawn mere seconds after killing them all. Was out in front of the Stone's Echo settlement when I killed a bunch of Chargers & Leaplashers who were fighting some locals. The Leaplashers detached pods were lighting up thru the whole fight, I walk maybe 10 meters away to loot some berries and then all of them just vanish...

More than half hour I ve been trying to defeat boss fire claw end up with fail But 5 minutes later I defeated fireclaw after I watched your video thanks a lot😅

Well shit, this is the exact fight I'm currently stuck on - decided to take up the platinum after nearly two years of sitting on it. How did U killed them by stike kill? I cant kill enemies by strike kill with my spear on ultra hard if they are 25 lvl or higher (Im 36 lvl). Must eat food to boost (The Wings of the Ten). And I have bought proper skills of course from infiltrator tree. Without food or Stealth Stalker.

I always camp on the mountainside above them while they're in the water and they seem to have a hard time seeing me in the spot I choose - not sure if I'd want to do it on the ground - I always take high ground from a distance with a ledge to hide me whenever possible - takes forever, but it works. I'm just not very good at avoiding the attacks, so I prefer to do it the sneak-in-and-put-an-exploding-arrow-up-their-arse-and-vanish way ;) Of course....that's only viable where there IS high ground nearby.

As of yesterday, I'm playing the game in a way that sees me meet a few known npc's who I'd normally see in The Grove - a few of the same ones who WOULDN'T be there if I didn't do a side quest or 2. And hopefully that works. 🤣 Bandit camps are tougher than settlements, but still workable. 😈 I don't know why, but shots to the noggin are hilarious to me.

Came back here for memories.. i remember fighting my first thunderjaw near the no mans land survey drone when I was severely underpowered (around lvl15 if i remember correctly). It was night with very low vision, and I remember when it walked out from behind the rock, menacingly. I wasn’t careful and it spotted me, and thats when I heard the battle music and knew for a fact that this game had one of the the most awesome ost out of any ps game, and close to the level of some of my favorite games on pc. It took a few tries and all my medicine, but i did it. It took me like 5 minutes to finally strike it down. It was perfect timing too, and as soon as it hit the ground there were explosions all around from an attack it did just before it died. Made for a cool picture. I loved zero dawn, and loved forbidden west even more.

The DLC allows you to press O and leap back off your flying mount once pressing X to get back to it. I’m curious to see what you’d do with that bro. Just an extra ability added with the DLC. Also new harder machines.
