I’m looking forward to a bratzillaz comeback in the meantime I’ll desgin my own revival (I currently have a jade i thrifted to customize into a modernized 2024 version disclaimer I bought her and she had zero pieces so to anyone about to throw a mental breakdown)
I really thought My Scene was dead in a ditch forever especially after all the drama that happened back in the day.
If you would’ve told me they’d be back in 2024 I would’ve never believed you. This is wild to me.

Lowkey crying of excitement Ive always wanted a myscene doll but they were past my time and they are so expensive now so I’m excited about this 😩😩
I USED to own a MyScene doll or two when I was younger.
Devastating that they are having a comeback without Nolee and Delancey, Delancey was my absolute favourite, and shes the most expensive doll out there so a new one thats affordable wouldve been amazing!
Im so happy My Scene is back, i was such a huge fan, i had so many of them and now i can start going insane for them........again
I'm very excited about this. Myscene dolls never came to my country when they originally released and I've always loved the faceups and aesthetics of this line!

Okay...OKAY!! So glad I'm being marketed to directly, I've earned it really.
But fr, these actually look amazing and maybe half because I've been Pavlov'd into expecting the bare minimum from Mattel but my eyes aren't immediately jumping to any big deal breakers. I might actually have to pick these up unless I get jumpscared away again. Truly not happy about my collection shifting away from LOL OMG and Rainbow High but at least I get to move toward a Bratz and My Scene Comeback.
Disappointed but not surprised to hear Maddison was swapped out for a pale girl in some parts of the world. I'd like to think that things have gotten better since then but only a couple years ago I found listings for LOL tots on either a Japanese or Chinese website (can't remember exactly which sorry) and noticed how the vast majority were very very pale and all had very cutesy looks (when a lot of them have more glam or rocker type looks). I didn't mind the emphasis on cute looks but stripping the line of darker skin tones was super disappointing to see. I didn't look into it further so idk if that was an outlier or if things have changed since but.. Idk. Very lame.
I agree! I hope they're not reproduction of the original core dolls, too. I see them on ebay all the time and they're not very expensive IMO. The harder ones to get are the bling faces, or the Masquerade Madness dolls.

I’m glad to see a possible comeback. I prefer the look of My Scene over Bratz, except for the poor representation. I hope they eventually bring the My Bling Bling screening back because those are the ones adult collectors prefer and that sell for a lot on the secondary market.

I hope this doesn’t cause Isaac Larian to have a heart attack. He’s now 69 years-old, and he really hates Mattel (not that I blame him). It’s not that I like him as a person, but he is still an underdog compared to giant Mattel, and MGA is really the only serious competitor in the mass-market doll world.

I didn’t know that they swapped the dolls for different countries. I found that so fascinating.
Happy to see myscene comeback, my only worry is mattel mishandling the releases and stockings like with g3 monster high and g1 rereleases
I personally don't think they're reproductions, just going off of the price, MH repro's are $25 and fully articulated, these are $40 with no articulation and arguably simple fashion for $40. I could be entirely wrong though and the inflated cost is for bringing back the old sculpts etc. I'd find it a little boring if they're repro's since most of the first wave dolls (In the UK at least) go for about £50 BNIB, and go a lot cheaper out of box complete, so they're not hard to obtain. But I guess we'll just have to wait and find out!
Iff the competition is just starting again, we need BARBIE to compete with Bratz like she used to do in a very cunty way
There are chances that they are Haunt Couture esque collwctir dolls where they are referential to the original release.
Maybe will be something similar to MH Haunt Couture
Woah I have a couple Nia dolls in my power, I didn't know they where rare in some other countries since i'm from Mexico 🥺 another thing i feel the need to share a myscene enthusiast is that I have mall maniacs Nolee but I dared to erase and paint over her face when I was going through my (failed) doll customing fase and I regret SO MUCH NOW 😭😭😭

Personally, I lost interest in My Scene during the Bling era and DEFINITELY prefer the original face-ups. I hope that this collector release has new designs from a major designer like MGA did with Hayden Williams with Bratz. If they are reproductions though I'm cool with that cuz I'd love to have them. And yes, I hope to see Nolee and Delancey again. I don't have an issue with Nia, but I had lost interest in My Scene before she showed up. She was brought in to be the" hispanic friend" which was weird cuz everyone already thought that Chelsea was hispanic but I digress.
